The way they SCREWED OVER GOD TOPPO & NERFED HAKAI shows they do not listen to the fans and only balance everything about what they don't like when they play the game because Hakai WAS NOT OVERPOWERED AT ALL and had a very exploitable weakness.
And by nerfing Hakai they effectively shot Toppo in the leg because now he has NO WAY to defend himself!

Toppo is almost impossible to play as. Is low stamina with a three bar evasive, the fact he takes extra damage, the fact that he has slow stamina Regen. And just how slow his combos are. The Hakai armor doesn't really help that much either when he is too slow to punish most characters for shooting a ki blast. I really hope he gets some kind of rework or something (but knowing dumps they aren't gonna give him one) btw: FUCK THANK YOU DRAGON BALLS

•Same super soul also nerfs him by 10% in every other area
•Slow 3 bar evasive on a character with 6 bars max and nerfed stamina recovery
•Signature ultimate gets hard nerfed meanwhile other similar moves don't disappear when hit
•Destructive fracture is a nice strike skill but I believe the tooltip about using an ult afterwards still hasn't been fixed (also his strike damage is low)
•Justice flash is unironically a shittier version of x10 kamehameha
•They give him arm crash but in the same update he arrived in arm crash loses its armor property on startup
There is literally no conceivable reality other than "somebody that works on the game HATES Toppo as a character" for them to have made a character whose stats/build/whatever you wanna call it is THIS disfunctional and was allowed to be shipped out like this.
Alternatively, they know how badly reliant people are ki stuns/block mashing that they unironically think Toppo would've become a top 10 character on paper since he could counter those behaviors if they didn't fuck with him in all these other manners.
Sheesh, you’d think they’d make a paid DLC character fun to play as to entice more purchases. Though someone on staff hates Toppo enough to risk it. RIP

For real though hakai didn’t need this nerf if you were stupid enough to get hit by it in the first place… unless you were combo’d into it but even still it didn’t deserve this nerf it was one of the most unique ultimates in the game and the only good thing toppo had, yeah destructive fracture and flare are cool and all but 1 fracture is easy to avoid if you have stamina and not being combod into it and 2 flare misses a lot and who is gonna charge it to full just for more damage? Fission was the only cool thing besides his hakai armor other than that after the nerf toppo is garbage

Toppo didn't just get shot in the knee. His entire lower waist and legs were obliterated. His chest? just for show off. His powers? laughable now. The man got reduced to atoms

Meanwhile male earthlings exist, SSBKK Goku has infinite stamina, Hit can break your stamina in like 30 different ways, custom dbs broly grabs that are near unavoidable if you actually try to fight him, giant namekian that invalidate 99% of the cast on small stages, and lag switchers/modders that are unbeatable, yet they nerf a mid tier character into being near unusable.
Plus scammed you into practically paying for pikkon who was overpriced since toppo is unusable

@@xEpicOreox do you know the 2 bars evasive skills? Yeah, they completely ruin Toppo's SLOW combo strings.
Also, most of the hits don't connect in online battles because of how slow and massive the character is. The netcode being dog water on top is the perfect combination for a 1 in a million occasions combo.

This change only would’ve made sense if you were able to throw multiple spheres out at once before but the only reason I can think of of why they did this is to stop people from treating this ultimate as a Super Attack and make people use it after a STA break.
That really moves so much of what made it unique

Don't forget custom super broly, he has almost 4 bars of health, fast stamina recovery, absurd grabs, and a health recovery limit burst.

@@theninja2k14 SSBKK uses a quarter bar of stamina instead of half like kaioken stage 2 (assuming both have the super soul) so basically custom Goku requires 2 transformations to have only half the stamina SSBKK has with 1 transformation, also SSBKK does a little extra damage.

His Super Soul could be changed to just the slow ki restoration and +10% stamina damage taken. Having +10% damage taken, less speed, _and_ slower stamina restoration on top of those is just too much, even for +35% damage(especially when some super souls give nearly that much for little to no penalties).
Also, why does it have a super armor limit burst? It literally lowers his defenses. Give it the attack boost limit burst, since it is all about boosting his damage. Dimps just wants to throw the super armor limit burst on everything at this point.
Those others only do that for one area for most of them but originally ranger 17s ss used to give 35% damage to all attacks AND a 20% percent speed boost with no downsides to it so I can see why they would want some downsides to it but the movement decreases and stamina regen speed decrease on top especially he already kinda has bad stamina and moves naturally slower then other characters by default since he's a big character it just makes it even worser
Toppo is the only character I Ki Blast Cancel on. His combos leave him stuck so long I’m not dealing with it.

The only reason the Destructive Fission nerf would make sense is if they made the tracking faster or at the very least made it hit harder.
Not only is the damage pretty mediocre considering the fact that the move is literally “Hakai” it’s slow as hell and damn near impossible to land unless you’re at point blank range because nobody’s stupid enough to walk into it or let it catch up to them.

Honestly this was another nerf that surprised everyone and made everyone unhappy like meditation. Absolutely no one complained about this ultimate but they nerfed it effectively making the landmine aspect of it( the cool and unique part of the ultimate that everyone appreciated) its biggest flaw. The attack would now just be objectively better if it was spawned where your opponent was or was going to be in the case of knock back/down combos but with the game's terrible netcode this would probably never hit reliably in an online setting.
People were complaining about it, Mostly about the fact that it was unpunishable and that fact alone made the landmine feel cheap, Who in their right mind at dimps thought that the issue was because of the projectile and not the start up.

Or burst burst dash then vanish immediately it explodes in the distance while you punish your opponent. Now it disappears if you take any damage, super easy to happen via ki stuns. They need to reverse the nerf its now completely useless as an ult.
@@xenoplayz4524 It wasn't about whether you could run from it, It was about the fact that if you tried the method that is true for ALL ultimates then you would get punished, It was a general law that if you use an ultimate out of the blue then you risk your stamina, Where was the risk of using Hakai?
The first method that you mentioned is smart though i can't exactly visulaize it, But the second asks for two bars of Stamina for something that should punish the Ultimate user.
For goodness sake there's a visual cue for Majub's ultimate where the user glow brightly for a second, Allowing you to stamina break them and deactivating their stun effect, It's so similar to Hakai how in the name of hell did they screw it up?

Or step vanish into it then move away then re-engage. Never lost a single match against people who used this ult pre nerf. Its a poor argument to say it should work like all ults no it shouldn't there needs to be variety in how moves work and each needs to be able to be countered per nerf hakai was through the ways i just explained. You need two bars of stamina to burst burst charge anyway.

Oof. I remember those first two fights. Shame about Hakai. It was incredibly powerful, as it should be, even negating most other Ki Blast moves but was balanced out by being slower than the sloth from Zootopia. I don't remember but didn't Stamina Breaking the user break the Hakai? To me that was fine, the Hakai was ungodly slow so it wasn't hard to have skirmishes here and there while avoiding it. Just keep moving, let your opponent come to you as you avoid the Hakai. Don't follow them as they are obviously setting up the Hakai so take away their control. Just hit and run. Simple. The nerf it got was far too much.
A simple way to deal with pre nerf hakai was to step vanish into it and move away, boom its gone. It was 100% fine the way it was now its unusable. Even offline as characters spam ki stuns if you take 1 ki stun it disappears. 4 ki gone just like that.

-Has an expensive ult that does high damage but only if you use a specific shenanigan to pull it off
-Literally 0 stamina
+Okay-ish damage without ults
+An automatic defensive maneuver that barely works anyway (Ki blast hakai armor)
I have an idea for Hakai. Increase the Ki needed to use from 4 to 5 bars, give back the old defensive Technique but... it disappears when the opponent grabs you, that's it.
Keep the ki cost. It should not have been nerfed at all, to begin with...

9:46 Remember when they purposely buffed/gave I-frames to vanishes, to make it even harder to hit people, in a game where people already spam i-frames to abuse the shitty netcode/hit detection? And they thought it would be a good idea? To make using your brain even less required?
Such a great feeling when you know exactly when your opponent is gonna do the same thing again, but it's impossible to punish their bad choices because they just keep making the game shittier with every update.

He has crap stamina regen, crap stamina, a 3 bar evasive, and his moves are mediocre because his grab isnt an actual grab and his justice flash is a worse version of 10x kamehameha and arm crash is ass. The only thing he has going for him is he has ki cancle armor and high ki blast damage but his ki ultimates are garbage and his armor only sometimes works when it wants to
@@carlinataylor93 his basic attack makes up for a lot of that imo the stamina thing is the only thing thats really bad w him. destructive fracture ignores vanishes most of the time and makes them waste stamina anyways tho im not sure it's supposed to, but it makes the move busted as hell. justice flash is a really underwhelming move but arm crash + his combos having so much damage is crazy ngl. ik it's annoying that his unique ult sucks now but his power rush is crazy too.

Yea he can pull out damage but SO CAN EVERYTHING ELSE IN THE GAME.
For example, mentor cell can 1 shot everything in the game and keeps getting stronger with every galick gun with the galick gun super soul and he has stamina and also has way more badass combos. You could play mentor super buu and have a shit ton pf hp stamina and also a combo that fucking broken. You could play a female saiyan and have 101 ways to 1 shot somebody with really great combos. You can play with mentor goku and be better then 99% of characters in every way. Or better yet be mentor hit and be the number 1 best character without question
Well here's hoping they notice the gigantic fucking dip of players using Toppo and revert it, but let's be honest here: they probably don't care.

With this plus his unique ability of not getting stunned by ki blasts I feel like would make this character way more viable.

The only thing that I like from the Hakai now is that it still one of the must difficult attack to perfect block, at least in my opinion
I honestly didn't like the way it worked before but at the same time I don't think Hakai needed to be nerfed the way they went with. Could have made it stay active for less time or something but to make it just vanish for taking any sort of hit? It was a total shot to the leg for Toppo might as well just run on the 2nd preset for Power Rush now and even then that's a stretch 🤷

To be fair, Hakai was too free. You used it and all the other guy could do was run or hope that the game’s net code let Hakai hit your Iframes as you dodged through it.
Maybe have it be health percentage based. So if you lose a certain amount of HP then Hakai disappears?

It wasn't free at all pre nerf, step vanish into it and move away boom its safety triggered or burst burst dash then immediately vanish then punish your opponent as they waste 4 bars of ki. It was completely fine now its unusable.

Low stamina, his ult never lands anymore because its so ungodly slow and disapears at the slightest of nut taps, and he has a big hitbox so he is easy to hit. The only good thing about him is he has grabs....that can be blocked...

It sucks that it got nerfed and at the same time it doesn't, i feel like they nerfed it because people would spam it or cheese with it.
If they nerfed how long it was out for it would've been fine. The problem was that you had to basically run for what felt like months before it finally went away and if you get caught in any combo it's game. Either make it disappear faster or make it move slower, having it just disappear when you get hit removes its entire utility

I really miss this ult, i hate the nerf to this move it wasn't even op. You could burst burst dash vanish it, or step vanish into it and it would safely trigger. Now if you take any damage, like 1 ki stun, it disappears. My favourite moments were kicking the enemy into the ult then activating it or just waiting while the enemy attacks me on their tiny health bar seeing the move slowly move into them, good times. Please dimps buff this move to pre nerf levels.
