Hours earlier, a handful of residents staged a peaceful protest in the community, calling for the Brasso Police Station to be reopened to the public.
Before the station was built more than a decade ago, residents frequently staged protests demanding a police station in the area.
The Brasso Police Station was one of several stations closed to the public a few years ago by the TTPS.
