Rating the progress on the tricks - keep at it
I have to give you thumbs up for your progress with blading 😎 Nice to watch
thank you! I really appreciate that
hey, i'm a fresh sub so this is the first video of yours i've seen. i'm pretty new to blading too but if i can offer you any advice; when it comes to your unity, your upper body is facing too far forward. Your hips, knees, ankles are doing all the work. if your chest is facing toward the ledge/rail more, you'll have better balance & control locking in and spinning off.
The landing fakie is another thing that is easier on a bigger obstacle, as the way down takes longer, giving you more time to clean up that 180
yeah you're so right about that, a little bit harder to commit to it because I'm admittedly not very good at skating backwards in general lol but having that extra time to get ready to land helps so much. I've gotta dedicate more time to skating backwards, maybe go to the rink
Brother you should do a bit of fakie skating on its own. That would help you with landing fakie from grinds.
Overall pretty good progress, you learned more in 6 months than I did in 2 years!!
Yeah I definitely need to spend more time working on just basic fundamentals like skating backwards
Odd thing with the foot pain, I have the opposite
When I start to really do my grinds, one of my feet (a little bit of a flat foot) burns, like its being exhausted by the movement, then after the first 20 min (probably when the skate loosens up a bit) it goes away
the feet are such a strange thing! I had a 30 minute session today that was mostly pain free, and tomorrow I'm trying intuition liners for the first time so that should be interesting lol
Time to stop grinding for a while and go skate transition, fakie,… that will catapult you towards a new level.
I really should, theres a park near me that has no simple rails or ledges but a nice big bowl and other transition, its the perfect place to force me to learn to pump and carve
Try losing the insoles and put the stock ones back in... sounds like you've lost too much space with the foot pain. I had the same the my 909's
you read my mind! I actually tried that in my next video I think, I definitely needed more space for my toes
@@inlineonline Footprint insoles are only needed if you're doing gaps or drops in my eyes, low impact stuff doesn't warrant them 👍
I literally just have a liner lol. Das it had to make room for my shmediums.
@@Itsphillipdeal Ive tried it a few different times but my arches end up hurting every time, maybe I need to get one of those footwrap things with insole support and go with the empty liner. I just got my intuitions fitted into my factions today so ill be skating those next session. But to be honest they feel scary stiff compared to the stock liners lol
@@alanhlewis yeah I got my footprint insoles in the mail and they are soooo thick lol probably better with heat molding but I probably don't need them like you said. I'm gonna stick with my super think superfeet insoles or no insoles at all lol
