This photo was taken only a week ago and already most trees have lost all their leaves. I hope you enjoy this easy watercolor autumn country road painting!
Thank you for this awesome tutorial!! I followed your tutorial with great interest and completed my watercolor. 😊
Thanks for watching!@@leonardol4745
Lovely painting-I'm going to try this one for sure. Thank you so much for sharing.
I painted this one with acrylic following your tutorial and i like the result, my sister came to visit loved it and took it home ☺️
Wonderful!
Thank you. I enjoyed this. Now, to try it!
Please do!
Perfect
Thanks!
Really pretty painting. Nice to see how you captured the autumn leaves. I wish the far tree didn’t create a tangent with the fence post and looks to be growing out of the top of the post.
Many have mentioned this haha
Thanks!
Thank you!
I don't know English but you draw amazingly
I had so much fun watching the process of painting the painting as you kept pointing out. I love the road and the big tree filled with leaves. I also love the fence. Great composition all together and great colors. I want to walk down that street!
Glad you enjoyed it! It's one of my favourite places to go in the fall!
I know this is ten months old but I just found you yesterday. Really enjoy your style of teaching and painting. Thank you for a great tutorial!
Thanks for watching Dianne!
Good point about the posts and their perspective. I would not have thought about it until too late - lol! And yes, that second layer of colour I like a lot - gives more depth to the scene, grounds it. And as always, love it!
I agree!
Julia I absolutely love this painting!!! You make the most beautiful trees. I’m still working on mine and I’m hoping it turns out. Thank you for sharing and adding your knowledge and teaching techniques. Glad you got to go to Europe and I’m sure you enjoyed yourself. Looking forward to seeing your next tutorial 😊💜🎨
I'm so glad you like it!
Enjoyed this tutorial very much, fascinating watching your painting take shape. Autumn is my favorite season, so I am keen to try this, if it turns out half as well as yours, I will be happy!
I'd love to see it if you paint it!
Beautiful painting of a vibrant fall scene. I really like the additional layer of color you added at the end. Love it!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️🍂🍁🍃
Thanks for watching!
nice easy water color ) good cozy colors
:)
Really enjoyed that. I will be starting tomorrow.
Awesome!
Hello Julia , I absolutely loved it what a great way to teach a beautiful fall painting, you made it easy and inspired to paint, fall is my favourite season painting about it was not easy though but now thanks to you its possible. thanks and much love
Im glad you found my tutorial helpful!
That was beautiful!
Thank you!
Really like this, only one slight observation, the little bare tree on the right is directly on top of gate post! But I did enjoy this!
Haha yes this has been observed by many, what can you do :P
This looks so beautiful. I just got through mangling a tree in a fall painting I was doing in acrylic. I've never used watercolors. And after watching this I am wondering if it would be easier than acrylics to make a beautiful realistic painting.
Every medium has its own struggles - practice practice practice!
Hi my friend, it's been a while since I've seen your new works. Many works still retain freshness, creativity in choosing themes and skillful use of watercolor from you. I am also learning to paint with watercolors, hope your painting helps me to learn a lot.
I'm glad you think so, thanks for continuing to watch!
That is really nice. Really enjoyed it.
Glad you enjoyed it
Thank you; I tried this today and really enjoyed it. Well, I watched your video and then tried it and tried to remember what you said while I painted, lol. I didn't want to move my laptop to the art room because I'm always afraid i'll spill something on it.
Perhaps put it on a separate table or chair when painting :)
I just found your channel. You now have a new sub.
I truly appreciate the way you explain everything and also give an explanation, of why your doing, what you doing.
I'm looking forward to all your videos.🎨
Thanks for the feedback! I also like when people explain the how and why so I try to do the same!
I found your channel today. I really like your descriptions of how its supposed to be, plus you use real color names , brown, not old brownshoe brown... 😅 thanks. I will watch your channel n try to start painting again..
Haha this is the first time someone was HAPPY that I use generic color names rather than the exact shade name.
Cool... is that a 5"7" I can't get my path to look like I want it. N I'm getting kinda pissy 😊
I just found you and I absolutely love how you paint while explaining what you are doing. I love fall and you have captured it perfectly. The only thing that bothers me is the small leafless tree looks like it’s sticking out of the first fence post. Please don’t fuss, it’s just how I see it. LOL
Haha I didn't see that until you pointed it out - luckily you can fix it in your version :) I hope you subscribe!

Love so much this video. Like the video is the best. As we develop day by day, Always follow your luck. I sincerely hope that your channel will be very big.
Thank you!
Your painting is more beautiful than the picture
Wow thank you!
Absolutely love the painting! And, explaining your thought process as you are painting. That helps a great for someone like me who is petrified at the thought of laying down watercolor. Because you have explained it so well, I am going to give it a shot. But I do have a question and see how you or others react to it. In the painting, it seems like a clear day but there are no shadows. Am I wrong in thinking like that?
I don't have the original photo in front of me but from what I remember, the sky was pretty washed out in the photograph because I was pointing it at a setting sun. Maybe that has something to do with it?
@@JuliaLisArt Ahhh…thank you.
Is there any way you can post picture in corner?
I post my personal reference photos for my patrons on my patreon page.
whata colors did you use?
I like your Fall painting except the leafless tree looks like it is growing out of the post.
Nature is funny that way eh?
Pleae, name your colors pigments.
An orange is an orange! I don't believe you guys need the exact shade to create a beautiful painting
