- AVM manual locking hubs are a popular choice for off-road enthusiasts who want to have more control over their 4x4 vehicles. Specifically, the 443HP type is compatible with a range of Mitsubishi models, including the L200, L300, L400, Pajero, Shogun, Dodge D50, and Hyundai Galloper, H1 4x4, and Terracan.
In this video, we will provide a detailed overview of the AVM 443HP locking hubs and show you how to install them on your vehicle. With our instructions, you will find the installation process relatively easy and straightforward.
AVM Brazilian Free-Wheel Hub is a reputable brand, and the 443HP locking hubs are known for their durability and reliability, making them an excellent choice for off-road driving. The red HP version is an updated version of the classic black one, with improved materials and design for even better performance.
As for our personal experience with the AVM 443HP locking hubs, we are highly satisfied with their performance on our Terracan. They have made a noticeable difference in off-road driving, giving us more control and traction in challenging terrain. Overall, we highly recommend the AVM 443HP locking hubs to anyone looking to upgrade their 4x4 vehicle for off-road use.

I suggest you to make between the freewhell hubs and the wheel's hub one gasket....dust and water can go inside without it and damage the grease before and after the bearings
Very good point, thank you. When I dismantled it, I didn't see the original seal, was it missing?
@@Terracan4wd suddenly the producers give only a advance about make a liquid gasket(similar to silicone)
Very good work!!!
Thank you. Looks easy. I’m surprised you didn’t tighten all bolts in a star pattern. It’s not great tightening bolts in sequence around the clock.
Good point!
But remember that this kind of weapon doesn't stand too much pressure after a while it will get bad
good note, it is definitely weaker than a CV joint.
what is the diference between avm hubs and standart terracan caps?
Maybe fuel consumpsion?
yes, the resistance on the road will be reduced, and at the same time the oil and gears in the front differential is not worn so much. It is only used for long-distance transfers. For example, if you drive 1000 km on the road and from there you just start an off-road expedition.
Hope its not to late to Get a reply🙏 but i have a terracan to. But i have just taken out the fuse to the transfer case on my car. It turns it into rearwheel drive. But i dont know if it means there is reduction on the front wheels? Do you maybe know?
The reduction gearbox will affect both the front and rear wheels simultaneously. The diagram shows how it works. It is the same as Pajero.
From where did you buy them from? They seem not to be available on Ebay or Amazon
interesting, they are still available in our e-shops and stores
I have the same car can you tell me about the number of negative wires next to the car computer i have problem with it
Hello, I would like to help, but I do not have this knowledge. All electrical diagrams should be downloaded from the Internet.
@@Terracan4wd Thank you, I've solved the problem
What is this and where ı get use this?
Freewheels on a front wheel, more info in the video. EN subtitles available.
Wheelbearing greese!!!???
You are NOT supposed to grease or lubricate at all. Says so in The AVM instruction manual. 0:08
I have the exact same hubs and ppl are having problems with them exploding when not greasing them. I filled them with grease and they are fine after 1years driving
Well to grease after for example a year i can understand and I can only agree on that. I was only referring to The first time installation instructions. 😊
