- If you don't want to watch the whole 19 minutes, then at least watch the fireworks part. (Especially when the boat comes out.) A lot of the video can be skipped as it is mostly a play by play of my evening. With regard to the firework show, the whole thing was 25 minutes long so I just tried to focus on giving a variety of everything they offered.

In the USSR, the film "Scarlet Sails" was shot, in which one of the most beautiful women of the time was shining - the inimitable Anastasia Vertinskaya.
This film instantly won the hearts of millions and entered the gold fund of the classics of Soviet cinema.
Scarlet sails are a symbol of a great and all-conquering dream. That's why they became a symbol of the prom and gave the name to this grandiose festival.

I think that the very last song is some special arrangement for this show. It sounds to me like it has a lot of elements from Tchaikovsky's 1812 Festival Overture, Op. 49.

Жутковатое музыкальное сопровождение...То хрипловатым голосом песню такую загубили, то оперная дива там откровенно фальшивила...А так красиво конечно, я бы съездила посмотреть.
