HELLO SIR. GREAT VIDEO. I HAVE ONE ISSUE IF YOU CAN PLEASE HELP ME. I PLUGGED THE 2 YELLOW CONNECTORS FOR THE BACKUP CAMERA INTO EACH OTHER LIKE YOU DID BUT WHERE DOES THE CONNECTION PLUG INTO??? IN YOUR VIDEO IT DOESN'T SHOW YOU PLUGGING IT UP. I HAVE EVERYTHING PLUGGED UP AND FIND ANYTHING TO PLUG IT IN TO? I HAVE 2009 YUKON XL DENALI

Good video. But I did get a updated disc off eBay for my 08 Suburban. Works great showing all new roads for 2020. Gas stations and Resturants rest room area. I like your new radio though

Try swapping out one of the harness plugs. Try to match the purple wires with the purple wires plug harness. I connected mine to the wrong one and had the same problem.

I may have missed it in the video.. I have a 2011 Tahoe lt no backup no navigation.. But I do have a slot for the dvd and a tray for the cd.. This head unit does or does not come with the slot slot to insert a movie and music? I did you successfully play a movie on the flip Don the flip down entertainment system for the passengers as well the passengers as well as the one on the head unit add unit or can you play 2 different movies
Nice upgrade from factory radio, but did you know you can retain the factory usb plug-in (if you have one) without any adapter... Yup, right under the centre console tray, just unplug the factory usb cable under the centre cupholder area and plug in the usb cable from the radio.

What if I have the oem DVD player in the truck? Above the oem stereo, there is a DVD disc for changing out movies. If I bought this, would I still be able to display movies?
Installed mine a few weeks ago, but I have a very annoying buzzing sound when I turn on left or right signal, and a constant low buzzing sound when playing music, could it be the power harness...because when I put my factory radio back in the sound went away.

I see you have 2 usb hook ups so u didn't connect the usb that connected to the back of your stock radio? So u only connected to bottom usb that's located at the bottom of the ac unit?
I have a 2010 Escalade and my steering wheel volume control or radio search is non responsive. Can you post your setting so I can see if there is something I change to make it work?

I just received the screen but as I was installing it. I noticed that my a/c control doesn't have the wire to connect to the back of the radio. What is my next step
The truck could very possibly have a sub in the center under armrest should definitely connect sub wire. 👍

I’m having trouble with my back camera & controlling my ac/heat… Would you be able to assist? I think it needs to be reprogrammed to my car & the company I purchased it from is not responding to help out.
I have this screen in my 07 avalanche, the screen went out but it still works it just has black screen..is it something that can be fixed or be replaced..I tried resetting it but still nothing

unfortunately I have been so busy in the last 6-7weeks that I haven't had time to mess with it at all, I'm hoping in the next 2 weeks to have a free weekend to pull it back out and verify wiring.
@@SawyersGarage i've been hearing that alot with the phoenix radio's tell me do you have the bose system? if so the impedence may be off for the speakers which is why only one works. the units we sell never had that issue but this is about the 7th time i've heard it. if what i said is true then your voice coils on the other 3 speakers are fried.
@@acsounds yes I do have the bose system, I can get both front speakers (but not the center dash speaker) to work but nothing else. Hopefully it didn't take out my other speakers, not a project I want to tackle at this point lol
I figured it out all your speakers are already on just have to go in the settings. Go to console first put your volume on 71 bass on 255 middle on 91 treble on 150 balance front on 127 and balance left right on 127 speed adjust volume on 6 Bose on on and surround on on the then go to settings then equalizer and play around with the sound your good

Can you dim it with other dash lights?
The fader in the console settings should move your speaker adjustment from front to back and left to right. The fader setting in the radio itself does not control the music balance. On my Ram I have to use the fader in the vehicle settings under console to move it. Also use the bass, mid, and treble adjustment there as well as the equalizer in the unit will distort the sound.

@@cmptenn9450 So i finally got around to trying the adjustments in the console menu but it didn't change anything - I have sent them an email with my issue and hopefully they can help me get it fixed. I will update once I have a solution or if no solution is found
Sawyers Garage there is a facebook page call t style radio. Look it up. They are very informative on there

I have a question, i have the 2011 yukon Denali hybrid and on one of the menu tabs it displays the hybrid function of the yukon. Does this have the option to display that info as well? If you happen to know..

if you leave the radio playing when you turn off the car will it pick up where it left off? also how long does it take to boot up when stating the car?
You have to turn the key to the last one right before you start the motor. It doesn’t come on in acc mode

Hi, I have seen commercials for Nav-repair and they repair these radio units. I have an 2007 Gmc denali xl and my screen is out on mine so im looking for a better upgrade.. Have you heard of them and what are your thoughts if you have any. Thanks.
I have not heard of them but it maybe worth it if it’s cheap enough vs replacement, that being said the factory nav radios fall short of many modern features that are nice to have
@@SawyersGarage yes I have looked at there website and its 400.00 plus shipping to have it gone threw. They will fix whats broken and clean it . All I do with mine is play CD'S. For navigation ill use my phone. Oh I miss the back up camera too. So I like the big screen tablet idea but ill miss the cd option.

It is not currently heated but that is in the works soon (hopefully). And right now I’m hanging onto the factory radio incase I don’t find a different radio that I like

Yes you can still control the pedals and traction control, the only thing is you lose the ability to toggle on and off stabilitrac

Top row of icons. It says Console the pedal adjust, park assist and traction control is located there. Hope this helps.
If you hit Auto on HVAC on the factory it does not turn auto off ass said in this video. I still have factory and dislike this function

It has video out but it's not compatible with the factory rear screen, you would have to add aftermarket monitors to use it for that purpose

I believe it works with the factory sub but you do lose XM radio

Unfortunately you lose them but they do give you 2 USB ports
Have you figured out the stabilitrak thing? Thats almost a deal breaker for me i have to turn that shit off in the deep canadian winters on my land or it shuts me down
No I never did find a stabilitrack setting, I live in a snowy climate myself so I will see how it handles it this winter
there is no stabilitrak written into the software of the unit regardless of where you buy it from.

the better model is sold at www.raptortechaudiosystems.com 3 year warranty on the radio and unlike phoenix they answer the phone if you have a problem, and the units support rear entertainment.
I know it might be a little much for you to do I know it says it can go inside Chevy my 2012 Chevy Silverado doesn’t have the same dash I’m scared if I get it it’ll be the wrong one

@@barrysmith9718 i did a silverado a week ago and there's one specific radio model that's mounted in there is a little different in some of the models. it uses a completely different factory harness and in some cases an installer has to fabricate or hardwire the unit in plus a few extra things need to be done to make it work. plus there are two different dashes used in the 2012
What about the rear TV, does it connect automatically and works?
Unfortunately you lose the rear tv screen function
