- Tim has quite a few examples of Jack in the Box toys in his collection, and here they are! The largest one that we show here Tim commissioned specially, and it is - as far as we know - the only example in the world!

Everytime I watch these videos, I worry that Tim might leave us soon
I hope he gets to be 120+ years old and still be able to do this. Its so rare to see a man so old in age, that has lived through a much different time than all of us watching him, yet still able to connect with so many young minds only through his one great hobby.

I got the fright of my life when the jack in the box opened. I pee'd in to my manpax accidentally.
I could never watch anyone else play with jack in the boxes but Tim.
Watching a 4 year old video in the middle of the night, and definitely not sober. But I have now decided I’m going to dedicate my life to being a custom Jack in the Box maker.

Are these the normal kind of Jack-in-the-Box in Europe? To me, a Jack-in-the-Box has a crank and plays a tune (usually "Ring Around The Rosy"). I live in the US.

Do you have any of the old ones with the handle that turns? I had one growing up in the 60's that played Pop Goes The Weasel and at the end of the tune a clown popped up out of the metal box.
I would love to have a can of nuts like that and leave it on the table when having a few drinks with friends.

I have a really creepy old jack in the box in my house. It's like 80 years old and it's rusted, the music still works and the mechanism works find with the crank but the clown is all old. the paint is really pale and his hair is falling out. I'm not afraid of clowns but this contraption is something out of a horror movie.
