I have a luxman lv103. The protection relay is not clicking on like it should. One of the six leds on the main board is not illuminated. Im struggling to figure out what is wrong
IM SORRY PLZZ HELP ME I have the same model... My friend borrowed it from me for new year party and ignored me after that. I got it from him with little force and it is not working. NOW I SEE YOUR VIDEO AND THE MOSFETS ARE 2x GREEN 2x Black.. So I checked in mine and they are 4x Black and newly changed with all fuses burned out. TELL ME THE EXACT MODELS OF THE FETS PLZZZ so I can restore it somehow.
They’re 2SJ115 / 2SK405 - You cannot use new type MOSFETs as replacements. You will need originals or make significant modifications to use newer types
@@whatcouldgowrong7914 but bro.. Those mosfets are all gone and no one is selling them anymore for more than 20 or 30 years... So I will die with that Amp just sitting there waiting for me fix it but I cannot fix it ??? (((
@@ChudGippity People on forums have attempted new replacements so you might find some info on google but you would need to hunt around as mine were perfect. Unfortunately vintage gear can be unviable to repair sometimes due to obsolete parts…
Let us hear how you test it, crank it up give us some low deep bass beat for a true test, you know I have here a vintage Amp the Kenwood KM 207 power amp, I let it play low deep bass its cool No problem dont be scared its easy to repair it modified it put some blowers lets party

Some go on marketplace, some as past along to collectors who are waiting for them. Most go in my collection for a time before being moved on :)
