I've watched 12 angry men and I've seen this movie too. I've one thing to say to all those who think it's bad to copy some movie. In human history there's always an adaptation of things of different part of the world to another part of the world. Take the example of our constitution which has been taken from several constitution of the world. This movie is a good and the best hindi adaptation of the classic 12 angry men. It's made for people who might not be able to understand English. The makers have done justice to those who can still enjoy the theme and plot of foreign work but with a little desi touch.

I know it's a dialogue to dialogue translation of 12 Angry Men. But I honestly don't mind it. It introduced the great script to an entirely new audience. For a classic like 12 Angry man, I think it's worth it.

S M Zaheer is at his best. See the subtlety at 29:15. He puts on his reading glasses just to read the notes, and then immediately takes them off when he is looking at person infront of him. So natural. Also the entire dialog following it is very long but executed perfectly by him.

In a few scenes, it seems as if he is purposely mincing words into other jurors' mouths so that he can counter them rationally subsequently and make them revisit their decision of calling the boy guilty. This movie is a masterpiece for me. The original was good too but the Hindi remake wins for me hands down.
Who feels that the way Pankaj Kapoor kept sticking out his tongue was a bit too much? After a point, I found it a bit over the top... borderline irritating tbh. Not denying an iota of the fact that Pankaj Kapoor is one of the finest actors that the Indian cinema has ever produced.
What a great movie......... I remember watching it on television in 1986-87 when there was no TV in every family. It's such a gripping movie. Around 10-20 of us had started watching the movie as was the practice back then but only me and my elder bro watched it till the end. We were so engrossed in the movie that we didn't realize that everyone had left and the owner had kept the TV On only for us.
Oh yes missed those olden days . Same here that time black and white tv with wooden shutter and antina exist. And found in few homes

As a law student i have never seen any movie this detailed and with a surreal story. It touches every corner of heart and mind and my perspective is so changed regarding my opinion about victim or accused. A must watch movie.
Yes its a good lesson for judges too... the dialog of K.K. Raina at 1.43.00 "bahut mushkil hota hai aise mamlo me apne purvagrih ko alag rakhna aur isi vazah se sach janne ke raste bhi band ho jaate hai" ... waht a great writing.. and a very good lesson to decide the case on its merit. I am not at all offended by the fact that this is a remake of the evergreen classic movie "12 angry men".
in fact I am pretty much happy that they made this for our Hindi speaking people, and the performances of all the actors and the production quality is top notch. kudos to the makers.

brilliant movie, whole movie is set in one room but you never get bored. great acting by the whole cast and the tension in the room and the sound of rain play a very important role. plus although we never see the outside we are given the effect the day has turned to night such brilliant work, such movies are not made in Bollywood anymore

This movie is an epic movie and you can watch it as many times as possible because of its intensity, direction, and excellence acting by each individual. One thing separates Pankaj Kapoor from others is that at a single point of time you can appreciate his vigorous role play and laugh also due his sublime mannerisms.

I watched this movie in my childhood on Doordarshan. After that I have watched it many times, and every time I enjoyed it's every moment. Whenever any one ask for recommendations for a good movie, I always recommend this one. It's really a master piece.
