Pattern Description: This beautiful and relaxing project is made by combining two strands of Caron One Pound yarn and using a #10 hook. It works up fast and is very squishy and cozy! It’s just five feet of waffle stitch with no additional border needed! I think the four pounds of weight make it a perfect lapghan to keep your legs warm! And six skeins would make a hefty full sized blanket.
If this is your first time using the waffle stitch, I suggest doing a swatch to get the pattern and rhythm of the stitch down and also practice how to finish and turn the rows.
    Materials to make a 3’ x 5’ (36” x 60”) Lapghan
4 Skeins of Caron One Pound
    2 Hosta, 2Aqua
    #10 Hook
    Snips
    Measuring tape
    Tapestry needle

    Chain a multiple of 3 + 2, the chain count I used for 5’ was 119.
Row 1: Turn and work into the fourth chain space 1DC, and continue the row working 1DC in each space, at the end of the row chain 2 turn.
Row 2: (The turning chain is counted as the first DC). Work 1DC around the 2nd and 3rd front post, work 1DC in the 4th top. Repeat the 2DC around the post 1DC at the top of the row sequence across the row, chain 2 turn.
Row 3: Repeat sequence except in reverse. (The turning chain counts as the first DC). 1DC at the top of the row and 1DC around the front post. 2DC at the top of the row 1DCFP. Repeat to the end of the row. Chain 2 and turn.
Repeat Row 2 and 3 to your desired size.
    Weave in ends.
I based my pattern off of a Yarnspirations pattern that is available as a free PDF at Yarnspirations.com.
