Thank you so much for this tutorial…my late grandpa’s favorite bird was a cardinal so they hold a special place in my heart. I was a little intimidated about drawing one much less painting…but you made it so approachable and I can’t wait! Such a beautiful painting …thank you again for this 🥰
I made two cards at once with your excellent tutorial. I miss my Texas cardinals so am happy to paint them. Thank you! I have been painting with you for several weeks and have learned a lot.
Love it, cant wait to try this..TY! You make it look so easy to do, for those of us without years of experience. You break it down well and your voce is so soothing, easy to listen to, Happy Holiday season to you!
Thank you Ellen, for this beautiful Christmas card tutorial. This is one of my favorites. Thank you for sharing your art talents with us. I always learn so much from you. I had been wanting to paint a birdhouse theme on a card for Christmas.
My lap to gave up the ghost so using my hubby's love the painting Ellen you make it look so simple that I will give it a try x Thank you for sharing with us x
This looks amazing and you make it look so easy. I would have never thought of adding the wood grain onto the house. It really does add extra details. I will practice it first on scrap paper and see if I can add it.
Love this!!! I love cardinals and this is a perfect thing for me to try to paint on my cards. Love your tutorials and encouragement! Thanks for sharing!
Love this, one of my granddaughters live cardinals , going to make her a Card like yours , but thinking I want them hanging decorations up! Thanks Ellen you give great advice, videos and ideas!
Thank your for another amazing video! Today we have a blizzard here in sweden, what better day than today to make some christmas cards! I fell in love with the palette you are using in this video, do you remember where you got it? Have a wonderful day!
Female Cardinals are brownish and two separate Cardinal families rarely hang together. They are quite territorial. So finding two males at a bird house is magically unlikely....unless, of course, it's Christmas. Cardinals do Love Black Oil Sunflower seeds and could care less about any bird house...again...unless, of course, it's Christmas. { so much for "authenticity" ! LOL ! }
i cant wait to do this
The perfect card! THANKS

It’s a painting tutorial, not a science lesson on cardinals.🙄
@@susanfontaine5214 So nice of you to explain. Thank you very much. Can you define "authenticity" ?
