"Song of Victory" composed by Mr. Min Sui. he is a student at Saigon University of Pedagogy. which at that time he was in the second-year, he composed this song. one day he went to a banquet to welcome the victorious army back to Hong Gross Road. In the early 1960s, he was impressed by the scene of the victorious army's flag. The heroes returned to Saigon amidst thousands of cheers to welcome him. He immediately ran back to the attic and composed this song and brought it to the military radio, where he met Lieutenant Dan Thu, who at that moment Head of the music department Dan Thu rehearsed the song and broadcast it.

"บทเพลงแห่งชัยชนะ" ประพันธ์โดยนายมินซุย เขาเป็นนักศึกษาในมหาลัยไซง่อน เมื่อเขาอยู่ในระดับชั้นปีสอง เขาได้ประพันธ์เพลงนี้ขึ้นมา อยู่มาวันหนึ่ง เขาไปงานเลี้ยงเพื่อต้อนรับกองทัพที่ได้รับชัยชนะกลับสู่ถนนหงกรอส (ปัจจุบันคือโซเวียตเหง่ติ่ญ) ในช่วงต้นทศวรรษ 1960 เขารู้สึกประทับใจกับฉากธงของกองทัพที่ได้รับชัยชนะ เหล่าวีรบุรุษกลับมายังไซง่อนท่ามกลางเสียงส่งกำลังใจนับพันเพื่อต้อนรับเขา เขาวิ่งกลับไปที่ห้องใต้หลังคาและแต่งเพลงนี้ทันทีและนำไปให้วิทยุทหาร เขาได้พบกับ ร้อยโท ดานโถว่ ซึ่งในขณะนั้น เป็นหัวหน้าแผนกดนตรี ดานโถว่ได้ซ้อมบรรเลงเพลงและนำไปออกอากาศ

"Bài ca chiến thắng" do ông Min Sui sáng tác. anh là sinh viên Đại học Sư phạm Sài Gòn. mà lúc đó anh đang học năm thứ hai, anh đã sáng tác bài hát này. một hôm ông mở tiệc chiêu đãi đoàn quân chiến thắng trở về đường Hong Gross. Vào đầu những năm 1960, ông đã bị ấn tượng bởi cảnh lá cờ của đoàn quân chiến thắng. Những người hùng trở về Sài Gòn giữa hàng ngàn tiếng hò reo chào đón anh. Anh lập tức chạy về gác xép và sáng tác bài hát này và mang đến đài phát thanh quân đội, tại đây anh gặp Trung úy Đan Thư, lúc đó Trưởng ban âm nhạc Đan Thư đã tập lại bài hát và phát sóng.

My grandpa was an officer in the ARVN. After the war, he moved to the States and passed away from old age here. When I grow up, I want to be a fighter pilot in the USAF or Navy, whichever one takes me. W music and Real Vietnam.

yo same thing with my dad, he was a normal infantryman but he fought in the battle of saigon, hue and also da nang and khe sanh, he fled to the usa by boat with 3 of his friends and lived there til this day, he always tells me stories about how cruel the north was, he said when he was on lookout he took out his binoculars and saw a nva soldier beheading a puppy and kicking it around with other soldiers, scary stuff man.
@@repentbrothers I thank your dad for his service. From what it sounds, he’s been through a lot. Lucky he escaped the north like my grandpa. I would’ve known what battles he fought in, but my grandpa seemed traumatized and never talked about it. He took the stories to his grave.

My grandfather was a Japanese soilder 軍人-自衛隊員 marine, who got DRAFTED, to YOUR COUNTRY, TO "protect" YOUR "DEMOCRACY" and what did he got ? regret and PTSD, My Wife is a S.VNese, her province was a swam spinach Farm, Dirt Poor, and yet it was only 27 Km from Saigon, now its a one of the richest Province in the whole Mainland SEA due to foreign investment ( Western ) and logistics
