This is spot on. I drink loads of fluids normally. 4-6 l per day. A hot pad on my tummy helps too. 6 to 10k steps per day help me feel better. A bag will stay on in the pool or tub. Woofing down food is my big failure.
hello mate. morphine and oxydone immediately after surgery and carried on taking the oxycodone for about a week post op. After that I was on fentanyl patches for the first two weeks post op and just paracetamol as well. I was off all painkillers except paracetamol about two weeks post op. Id say take advantage of the painkillers that they give you at first and don't feel bad about taking them to make yourself feel better! if you've got anymore questions feel free to ask away.
I am 5 weeks from my op experienced a few issues so far mostly that most of my output through night.
wow good for you man dealing with all that and making a youtube video on top of all that. Your tenacity is impressive
haha thanks man. Feel I might as well share my mistakes so others can avoid them haha

Do you not use PEG powered softener? You can take it twice a day till you have movement
How long were you taking pain medication for post surgery? I'm a few days post surgery and still using a few every day.
