I'm not surprised they waited THAT long for Jollibee. When Jollibee first opened a branch in my country, you'd end up waiting around an hour for your order because the lines were so long and full of Filos. I think the longest time I waited was almost 2 hours because I made the mistake of going during lunch rush hour. The wait time is long because compared to PH, international Jollibee branches are very few, whereas in PH there's like a Jollibee restaurant every 10 minutes you travel.
Was it in Italy? I remember going to the only jollibee in Italy and had to wait a couple minutes just to get a ticket where it was written a time to return so that there wouldn’t be a long ass line, still had to wait an hour after that tho. Was it worth it? Nah
Lmao, whenever there's a jollibee there will always be a mcdonald's nearby lol, there was a jollibee near my highschool but then suddenly there was a mcdonald's being built right across the street from it lmao
fr there is a jollibee about a 10-20 minute walk from my house lol, but yeah! jollibee is very popular! the waiting time here in the philippines to get your order is around 5-25 minutes! most college students flock to jollibee especially liceo students! very gratefull theres one in SM mall aswell lol waiting time is also 15-20 minutes max in the mall, surprised how fast the food was ready though during lunch hour there lol
Uncle Kaneshiro is like that one Italian mafia lord you see in tv/movies who's loving his family very much. Imo he earned his Filipino card rightfully so lol
I've only seen mostly US prices, but the people buying are actually surprised by the bang for your buck servings there. Not sure about the one in London.
True, but also like, damn, I'd feel lucky if I could eat Jollibee for breakfast for that long lol. Here in the Philippines, fast food isn't "cheap food you buy when you don't have time to cook", that's what local diners here are for. Fast food restaurants here are "places where you can eat western or eastern food during special occasions or after church that's better quality than at home because your cooking utensils are old and ingredients are expensive, but you can't afford a proper fine dining restaurant." So basically, cheaper than if you made it yourself, but more expensive than what you usually make because you tend to sacrifice quality for the sake of being cheap lol.
50 minutes to wait for the food, and when their time has come the uncle ordered all of the food in the menu there. I guess its because his uncle thinks that 50 minute of waiting in line should be worth it
Long lines are still anticipated even in the PH, so my dad would just usually go for McDonalds since he has no patience to wait that long to order something from Jolibee, but I use my sister to persuade him to buy from Jolibee, and it works everytime. I’ll do anything to get that spicy chicken
Jollibee servings is base on filipino kids or adult b-day party where you can have everything in one plate or tray plus coke or water or both and other drinks and desserts like any type of ice cream or Apple pie that's why your stomach will be full.
It's weird that they had to wait a long time.. then I realized I'm in the Philippines where Jollibee is fucking everywhere; there's even a Jollibee beside another Jollibee restaurant
Also if there's a Jollibee expect the clown McDonald's to be nearby. Seriously i am not kidding in one of the places near our old home there was a Jollibee stand that, that was built there 10 years later just a couple of blocks from it theres a McDonald's just a couple of blocks from it. And everywhere you see Jollibee expect McDonald's to be near.
Oh ho, how nice to know there's someone else who dislikes wasting food. I just order what I know I'm going to finish and by finish I mean the plate is so clean you'd need just to soap it and soak it and it's ready to use again. Yeah, eating to bursting is not fun. It's fine to eat until you feel full sometimes but other times it throws you off for the rest of the day. I wonder what oversees Jollibee fries taste like. The ones here in the PH can't compete with McDonald's.
Same? But not really? For me it's like, I can eat way more than most people, so usually I'm still hungry and take fries from my siblings with smaller appetites, but because of that I also eat everything in my plate, but if I do somehow end up full, we take out the food so we can eat it later (tho sometimes with drinks, my mom just makes us leave it alone; it's only sometimes that she asks the waiter to pour the leftover drinks into a plastic cup so we can drink it on the way home).
why is it that foreigners are so beefed and tall yet they eat so little? Like i'd take all the offered food (except chicken since im allergic to it RIP) and still looked like i've been malnourished and hadn't eaten in days
Luca would be a trusted bro on not wasting food. Even if I haven't had the chance to stop by his streams/archives I know I can put him in S-tier Vtuber rating through thriftiness alone, and perhaps the whole Philippines would held Luca highly as well!
I love Jollibee for the reason that they have some juicy chicken, like really juicy, never had a decently juicy chicken before so was really impressed with it
Damn, I'd stay away from Jollibee after if I had that experience. Good food is good food, but eating too much (and worse even being forced to eat it) just makes you not want to eat it anymore after.
Yeah. I was like "if you're full, just take the food out; no need to force yourself to eat more or just leave the food unfinished" and turns out they did that but they gave all of it to Luca XD
Usually you wouldn’t have to wait that long in where I’m in..There are like a lot, A LOT of Jollibee’s here and it’s just everywhere. You’ll probably only wait for like 5-15 mins or if they aren’t busy probably less than 10-15 mins..
I mean the chicken and burger did the same thing to me. But I just kept eating and eventually when we went home someone rushed to the bathroom to throw up.
Long lines are still anticipated even in the PH, so my dad would just usually go for McDonalds since he has no patience to wait that long to order something from Jolibee, but somehow I still manage to convince him to buy from Jolibee. I’ll do anything to get that spicy chicken
I remember just recently me and my family ordered through drivethru and when we checked the parts and they didn’t give us what my dad requested we gave them back so they can change it to what was originally asked they said to wait for like 30-45 mins and we just stayed there in the parking lot waiting for almost 2 hours when my dad went inside to check our order they apologized because they apparently forgot about it lmao
omg leaving the restaurant super full feels horrible😭 like idk what's up with the restaurants here in the ph but everytime I finish eating at a jollibee or a chowking I feel so stuffed, not to mention it's such a pain to walk back home
The food here might be catered to the amount of food us filipinos need to eat so that might be why you guys feel full after eating at the restaurants here in the PH
I wait for only 45 minutes in our local Jollibee here in the Philippines. I always buy, Spicy Chickenjoy, Spaghetti and beefsteak with rice, mango peach pie, and of course gravy and fries. Filipinos has a big appetite, especially my dad ;-;
Me from Jollibee Homeland: Never had Jollibee in a looong time. *cries in poor* Due to inflation and stuff it's getting expensive. You could spend at least PHP 100 (USD 2) to have a good meal. Anything beyond PHP 50 ($1) for a meal is expensive for me.
see this is why the family has me. All that food? I'd eat it all. I have a fast metabolism so I don't really retain fat (kind of specially evolved trait to not retain heat as a native filipino). So I'd eat all that no problem. Besides its UK Jolliebee. They have smol portions.
jollibee has the power to make you full with just a few bites lol, okay so i ate in jollibee(first time i'm like 6yrs old? yea 6yrs old) i'm invited to my cousin's birthday at jollibee because jollibee is giving birthday event for 1yr old to 3yrs old but i'm not sure if its only for 3yrs old,, they have a playground inside of their restaurant, we play there while waiting for the birthday girl to arrive with her parents to announce and give us a present from jollibee,, play a game, and have the jollibee mascot entertain us while we eat so i actually didn't pay attention to what i'm eating,, i started to eat like 3bites but its a big 3bites😰 i kinda wanna throw up that time, i haven't even started to drink my cola or som. and i'm already full💀
