kara & skye | everything i need

au: Skye was the first person to know about Kara's powers because she saw her save the plane. after having a talk in the diner Kara agrees to help protect the city with Skye's help. She then starts to fall in love with her, unable to hide her feelings Kara decides to open up to Skye only to find her kissing a guy from the bureau who they eventually end up working along side of. Kara begins to distance herself but it doesn’t do much to mend her hurt feelings which gets Skye to confront Kara about it and the truth comes out. Skye stays speechless, not being able to tell her she doesn’t feel the same way. With their friendship on the rocks Kara becomes reckless, colder which causes her to be captured in a fight with one of Cadmus’ goons. In search of Kara, Skye gets a premonition which leads to her safe return. Finally admitting to herself that what she feels towards Kara is much more than just friendship she breaks up with her boyfriend and gives into her feelings.
