Motocross Action tests the 2023 Husqvarna FC250 at Lake Elsinore Motorsports Park in Southern California. Just like the KTM, Husqvarna has changed their 250cc motocross model from head to toe. It has a new frame, new air-box, new swing-arm, new engine, new mapping, new map suite, new body work, new suspension settings, and more. We were hoping for more bottom end and overall power after a long run with the previous engine. Did we get it? Is the new frame better or worse? How different is the Husqvarna from the KTM? We answer all these questions and more in this TESTED video by the Motocross Action Wrecking crew. We took a little longer on the FC250 to figure it out and give you all the information we found. We hope this helps our viewers make a more sound decision when purchasing a new bike of their own.

    1) solid review as always 2) unfortunate so many electronics are being added, maybe some voice of customer would’ve helped them here, don’t need all of the electronic features, broaden the powerband, fix the squat under acceleration, call it good. 3) have you guys ever contemplated doing bike tests on tracks that are outside southern CA? Understand this is your controlled test lab and your “constant” but man, those tracks and that dirt look way different than what we have out here in the Midwest…

How did that bike gain 5 lbs... over sounds like a backwards step, which is too bad. Thanks for the honest review.

seriously though the engine cutting out on the face of the jump because your boot bumps the shifter a little bit is not good

I have been using a quick shift since 1964 on Triumph, Husky, etc. It is slightly faster and is harder on the transmission. It sounds like the auto quick shifter on the Husky shuts down the engine for a little too long, since the riders can feel it. Using the kill switch, you actually don't hear the engine powering down.

I love the Husky! Fits my demo perfect. I am 47. Former moto Novice. Overweight. Paid well but no bike budget, so sorry big buck boys, I'll cash you outside! Dream bike is KTM/Husky/GasGas 300 Off-road. Or 350 Four Stroke Off-road. Anyway, the only the only thing I am sad to see on the new breed are the old Fork Stickers from WP. The new stickers that I believe were on all prelease pictures look Factory!
