  • We start out in Virginia with a late start, then have to rush through N. Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia & all of Florida to try and make it back in time to watch the fireworks all while battling temps that feel like triple digits.

    very cool. 95 through South Carolina can be brutal anytime, but really bad when the temperature and humidity matches the Interstate number.

    ive been going throught your videos to see if the flex slim held up.. did u take it off or did it fall off? just curious because i wanted to get one since chinmounts doesnt have one for my helmet

    • @MRMRS2wheeler
      @MRMRS2wheeler  18 дней назад

      @@AssettoCutz hey, to be honest it started to peel on the edges so I took it off to avoid losing the camera. I dropped the helmet on the mount on a very hot summer ride (which I'm guessing weakend the adhesive). I reached out to the company, and got a quick reply starting that they redesigned the mount because there was too much tension pulling the mount away from the helmet. They sent me the new design (it looks identical outside, but different material inside) and I have had no issues since. I will recommend the product, and can say they have excellent customer service.

    Chin mount didn't work out?

    • @MRMRS2wheeler
      @MRMRS2wheeler  Год назад

      Not the one I started the trip with. But then again, I did drop the helmet and that caused it to come off. I have since replaced it with a much more robust chin mount. This one is working perfect. Here is my review of it: ruclips.net/video/KkeQ_6CBpgI/видео.html

    How many miles have you gotten on the 2007 ST ?

    • @MRMRS2wheeler
      @MRMRS2wheeler  5 месяцев назад

      Hi, I currently have around 70,000 miles on her.
      Do you have an st?

    • @MustangNthusiest
      @MustangNthusiest 5 месяцев назад

      @MRMRS2wheeler yes just bought a 2007 ST1300 it has 50k miles , bought it from original owner.
      Reason I asked on mileage, I was wondering how many miles I'll have left on this bike. I Hear people sometimes have alternator issues.

    • @MRMRS2wheeler
      @MRMRS2wheeler  5 месяцев назад +1

      With proper maintenance, I have seen st1300s with over 200k miles. Maybe people ignore scheduled maintenance and just ride until something breaks.
      I haven't Heard of many issues with the stator, more of the ECU which is becoming impossible to find. I replaced mine about 2 years ago.
      Take care of the bike and it will take care of you. The motor is bullet proof and can give you many years of service if you take care of it. You should join the st-owners forum, great folks and lots of useful info on these bikes.
      Congrats and enjoy your new ride 😁
