You fall down a very large pit into the bottom of old aperture where you learn about Cave Johnson, and GLaDOS' origins. (And Stick GLaDOS on your portal gun) *"Science isn't about WHY it's about WHY NOT? Why is our Science So dangerous? Why Not Marry Safe Science if you love it so much? In fact, why not invent a special safety door that won't hit you in the button the way out BECAUSE YOU ARE FIRED!"* (Cave) Eventually you work your way back up to modern day aperture and many things are in ruins. And Wheatley puts you through a new variation of GLaDOS' tests. *"Yes you 'solved' it, but I'm wondering if there are many ways to solve them and you're picking all the worst ways."* (Wheatley) This is until he decides that he ultimately has no use for you anymore and we get to here. *"Hello!
