I wish I had this video a few years ago! I had prepaid for a stay at the Capsule hotel, but when my red eye connection from Japan landed, I discovered I was actually in KLIA1 not KLIA2, and the shuttle was not running between the terminals. Had to find another place to stay and take a shower, and call that reservation a loss. Live and learn!
Thanks CK,we were amazed to discover that KLIA was first class,(we have been to quite a few!!!) the last time we were in Malaysia, the staff were also super helpful as we needed to connect to Sandakan on arrival. The Airport capsule is really something, isn't it? Very common in Japan, have yet to try though...you looked at home at the Airport alrigh!!!
Will be our first time to KL - thank you so much for the very helpful, informative video. You mentioned that there is public transport from KLIA to Melaka - would appreciate your guidance on this. Want to spend a few days in the city then another day or two to Melaka.
Thank you for all the infos mate much appreciate it! Just wanted to ask please generally speaking the weather in October is to too much rain or? because we coming this month for a visit
Personally I would Xchange at Sentral, better rates. There are several; one on the north side of Jalan Stesen Sentral, another on the north side of Jalan Tun Sambanthan. IIRC, both are on the ground floor, within the NU Sentral building.
This is very helpful, thank you so much! Blessings to your channel! I have a question, do you have any idea how and where to request wheelchairs in KLIA2? I'm traveling with mobility challenged friends end of this month. TIA
Hello CK! Very informative and detailed video! I assume your video covers after we go thru immigration and baggage claim to collect luggage. Correct? (btw, we’ll be flying on Air Asia on Sep 14, 2024, so we’ll be arriving on Terminal 2, I believe)
Hi. Is there a place/area in KLIA where there are tables woth sockets where one can work while waiting for a layover flight? Or if coffee shop, which one do you recommend?
Thank you for all thr info. My flight lands in terminal 1 but my terminal 2 i have to catch my next flight. So where can i keep my luggage for 7-9 layover
Tell me please.. After taking your arrival suitcases.. Do you have to pass through check control in the airport. Will be travelling to K L for the first time
Hello, I want to understand something. The luggage storage is at arrival L2 and L1...but when I come back I.e enter through departure L3. How will I collect the luggage
best place to exchange money?? I know the airport exchanges offer poor rates but everybody need some cash just to keep going... But once in KL where is the best place to change money? Thanks
in a few days i will self transferring through KL on my way back home to Australia from Europe, I will be self transferring from KLIA 1 to KLIA 2 so i will have to clear immigration and technically enter the country, however since there is just 5 hours between my flights i wont actually be leaving the airport. I understand that the alcohol limit into malaysia is 1L per person, however the alcohol limit into my fianl destination (Australia) is 2.25L. im just wondering if the Malaysian 1L limit will apply if im self transfering onto a connecting flight within a matter of hours?
No they don't work in Singapore. Unless u want to roam.. but that will be expensive. If u travel to Singapore, they always have public WiFi available. But I suggest to get a prepaid SIM at Singapore.
CK, good video, very informative and I'm sure will be helpful to a lot of visitors to Malaysia.
Glad you think so! Hope this will help many visitors coming in
Can I enter from level 3 and go to level 2 to pick up my luggage from storage
I think so

Is there shuttles or taxis you would recommend that are better to take you to a hotel or Airbnb ?

@@CKology I planned to use the KLIA express train to get between the terminals, so that’s why I’m hoping it would be fine.
It’s fine
