Tetris Effect Connected VS Mode in ranked, playing as boss. Connected versus is only available on Saturday's, seems bosses were nerfed a lot since last weeks Tetrimidon upload.

Oh nice they did a huge Connected Line Attack, Wumbo's gonna have to heal off some of that-

The white lines on Wumbo’s side isn’t permanent. However, they can only be removed when he’s on the Defense. He can only switch to defense when there is a Connected Line Attack being readied. If Wumbo creates lines while on defense, all current defense lines are _supposed to be_ sent to the white lines, starting to the highest line that is on his board. A white line will start white and lose opacity as it begins to vanish. If there aren’t any garbage lines to clean up, it will be sent as a wisp that will circle around his icon and be used as preemptive defense in the case of the next CLA is sent again.
@@MoaoAyt you can push zone button to toggle between attack and defense. Can only defend while attackers are in zone though.

Good to know there are players that knows how to revive. I had to carry my team too many times just to see them not even try to get back into the game. And all you have to do is press a button to the beat of the song.

I wouldn't say that. Wumbo's an absolute beast and he still went 11 minutes and a half against an average player and 2 good players.
Bosses are op if theyre decent and the other players are 5000 sr or lower. I used the boss to get to get top 1 for a few days

I think tspin doesn't charge zone
my understanding is filling the bar for the boss and 3p is based on lines cleared not sent so there is no t-spin bonus

but you can boost revive meter of dead player with T-spin.

I think hayat000 was the best in the enemy team, jayjey23 despite being the slowest, at least managed to keep up with his team very well.
Man. At least they were able to revive themselves instead of just sitting there.
I been in too many sessions where my team just doesn't know how to revive themselves and I had to carry them by myself.

You see those particles spinning around Wumbo's icon when he's the boss? Those appear with amounts depending on how good he does in Defense mode. The boss switches to Defense mode when the team uses Connected Line attack. If the boss does well enough, they may receive no lines, or just a few lines instead of something like a whopping 20 lines attack.
Yeah, and to clarify: in the giant board mode, only one player can drop a piece at a time.
The player that can drop a piece is brighter than the other players.
However, player 3 near the end filled the meter themself, and negated this rule.
Is there a way to change repeat speed in this game? I can't find it in settings

I cannot believe those players only got B's and A ranks. They did a tremendous job against all those ridiculous attacks. For example "invert" literally makes your field unusable, but they were still doing t-spins at the top.
On jstris some of the maps look kind of like what happens after "invert", and the best players in the world take about half a minute to clear the map, without any clear delay. these boss fights are not balanced.

This is what the final boss should have looked like.. Maybe There should be a secret Wumbo boss for Wumbo himself..
There needs to be some sort of margin time compensating the players later in the game, this is so unfair for them.
There kind of is? Zone attacks get stronger over time, though the boss can send more effects at once so it cancels out. As someone who tends to play as the boss, the boss is overpowered.
