Thank you for all you do! I live in So. Ca not far from the Altadena Eaton Fire. It's now moving towards us and last I heard this morning it was at the top of the mountain where Mt Wilson is. Mt. Wilson has all of our towers and is a major communication site for pretty much everything. We have had the strongest winds in 11 years the past few days and they are supposed to get better. We do have many National Forrests and State Parks here too.The Eaton fire is very close to the Angeles National Forest as well. I live in the Mojave Desert right over that mountain. I'm looking for a place to live now since I have chronic illnesses and Chronic pain. The insurance companies canceled policies a lot after the Malibu fires weeks ago. These new fires have hit regular people too not just rich people. Thank you again for being someone who helps so much. We all need more people out there like you 🥰

My dad was a commissioner for the state of California and went to private school with many of the same people you are referring to, but for me it was in the early 90s. It’s really hard to be empathic and sensitive of people’s energy when you are surrounded by so many people who have a lot of evil in their lives both as perpetrators and victims. It was exhausting at times and I have worked very hard to learn key habits to protect myself, but it still can be wearing. It is possible that the insurance companies started canceling fire coverage on policies when they found out there was no water to fight fires. The risk was just too great. The created water shortage is at the base of this issue. The state and local governments had the responsibility to keep water in the lines to stop the fires when they begin. Insurance companies are prepared to cover some houses, not whole towns.
