After who's ur mama performance I would've been pissed if Semmi did'nt jump up in position, she deserves that 9th spot and even higher. That part they played right before introducing her was very very charismatic and cool, nearly flawless.
This is a Chungha case. The only thing difference is Semmi already debut in a group. She went from 0 to hero in term of popularity based on talent alone.
daebak. totally. you know. i was thinking, up until this time, there wasnt any strong vocalist in the debuting rank. sure nca can cover it up, and jiwon (the oldest) can do it too. but i feel thats not enough. if we talk about strong vocal from my own perspective the duo from matilda kinda stands out, haena and semmi, theres a few more besides them yea, but these two totally nailed their part each time. my honest opinion, haena did sing better than semmi, but semmi has the looks. she's prettier, and her vocal didnt lose much from haena. besides the fact that their team won the last mission, i guess thats also the reason why she rose up so quick, man.. that was quite a shot, 42 to 9. amazing. in the next episodes, this girl could probably the only one left from her team. the only light of hope for matilda.

Atleast Korea casual viewers care for vocals and try to vote for them. Jaehwan and Sungwoon (2 main vocals of Wanna One) would never have made it if Ifans was allowed to vote in P101 S2. Thank god only Kfans are allowed to vote. Ifans wanted to put in all visual youngsters then base on polls votes in Soompi, Allkpop, Kboo etc. The horror the final 11 would have been. So it's better that just Kfans vote.

Semmi is more Sungwoon than Woojin. Sungwoon also rank low at first but it was his vocals and desperation that made the casual voters to support and vote for him just like what happened to Semmi. Woojin is a different case. He didn't stand out at first but then his past childhood photos started resurfacing on the Internet and it trended in all platforms. He was trending almost everyday in Pann with new funny childhood photos that they started dubbing him 'King of Dark Past'. This was what made him gain a huge fanbase which then push him on Top 11. It's a different case.

Finally a rational Suji fan, tbh as a general audience, every time i see Suji is in the top 10, I will always like "huh? But I can't remember she had any shining moment? KennRicky well she is popular amongst females in korea, and that basically means she has a very loyal fanbase. In terms of skill, Suji is known for her manly dancing, which a lot of people are not used to in Korea (mainly the misogynistic fanboys,) hence why it is difficult for her to show her full potential. Tbh, aside from Joohyun, a lot of girls would have a hard time keeping up with Suji, so they choose dance routines that all members can do without anyone having a hard time. This really makes it harder for Suji and Joohyun to shine and stand out since they have to match with the others.

Yass matilda cought my attention when i saw them on weekly idol but after the "give it to me" performance Semmi did it for me she became my # 1 in the show not only is she talented but also pretty.

Finally a rational Suji fan, tbh as a general audience, every time i see Suji is in the top 10, I will always like "huh? But I can't remember she had any shining moment? And she had really little screen time as well. Why is she always in top 10?". I am quite meh that a lot of Suji's fans saying Suji deserved to be in top 9 while she showed nothing yet. I hope she can shine next episode to convince majority that she deserve in top 9.

If it's performance maybe yeah, she's not as amazing as semmi or euna. But her RTW fancam quite popular. I think her backstage story help her. She contributed in Red Flavour and RTW choreography. She has bright personality, and she's pretty. She already has fans too. That's why she got votes

KennRicky well she is popular amongst females in korea, and that basically means she has a very loyal fanbase. In terms of skill, Suji is known for her manly dancing, which a lot of people are not used to in Korea (mainly the misogynistic fanboys,) hence why it is difficult for her to show her full potential. Tbh, aside from Joohyun, a lot of girls would have a hard time keeping up with Suji, so they choose dance routines that all members can do without anyone having a hard time. This really makes it harder for Suji and Joohyun to shine and stand out since they have to match with the others.

when semmi got no 9. i really am crying. i see her potential since their project who is your mama. i really hurt n sad when she still want to prepare the best for her team eventho she dunno if she is going to be eliminated or not. i really crying that time. n then when i see her present their profilr about what they want for their performance. i can see how passionate she is. n when i watch their elimination session ,j cant help but relieve because nobody is eliminated . and their performance is the best!!!! thank u knetizen for notice her potential.
