I was on the team too, but as a senior, so we all played together. Not-so-fun fact: the guy who outed her on Reddit is my younger brother.

@@Shrimpyyyyyyyy Someone posted it as a public domain image, doesn't mean it's legally a public domain image. Whomever posted it would be the one to go after as from the sounds of it they didn't own the image directly. On top of that, the owner of the IP(intellectual property) to the image is the one that took the image, so her friend actually owns the IP to the image(And not the one that uploaded it), and not her.
Then you have the issue that most people that have made money from it have done so as parody, which has a protectections use under US law.
Plus, she can't directly make money off the image herself, or the character- as it would infringe on goosebumps own intellectual property, unless she does it as parody- and even then if there is any merch or stuff sold directly using their trademarks than whomever sells the image would then potentially be in hot water with goosebumps lawyers.
So either way, it's gonna be hard to make any money from this meme.

That stuff is NOT the norm at the high profile conventions. If people do that kind of stuff, it's usually the fringe and people who are FULLY aware of EVERYTHING that's going on. In any event, she is awesome and I loved Goosebumps books too! :D
She knew ahead of time that there was drugs infused in the food… nowhere in the video does it say she was “drugged without consent”… where the hell did you pull that from?
@@dr.schlopp4089 I think she tried to keep the video PG. Also, she didn't say one way or the other. But the fact, that she was surprised to start randomly tripping. That is key info that she didn't know about the drugs.
@@VitoVeccia She was never surprised tho? She knew ahead of time that the food was infused because the chef literally told her (mentioned at 5:24 in the video). So she didn't just randomly start tripping, she knew she was going to trip cause it takes about an hour to start tripping, or around that timeframe. It's just when she started tripping she had a furry cat rubbin on her legs and decided "Yeahh maybe this is to much to trip to" and wanted to leave. Then wrapped up the story by saying "Nothing sinister happened". So there is a lot of key info that she did in fact know the food was infused. Also if she was drugged by surprise she wouldn't know what drug it was at all, but in the video she knew what it was but just didn't say

I felt like I entered into an ocean of hilarious nostalgia the moment I read "Ermahgerd." This one meme has legitimately caused countless occurrences of me laughing my ass off way back in the good old days when memes were at it's classic style of simple humor, that I can not describe how happy I was after seeing it again from this video after so long ago.
