- did this reiew on a dewalt pressure washer that i purchased at the home deep throat haha jk. retails for 570 bucks not with taxes also its a 3600 psi washer gasoline, this thing has some serious pressure becareful around body parts, Also paint it will eel paint lmao
UPDATE:1 year and still cranks within the first 2-3 pulls. Probably will buy another when this one finally does bite the dust ruclips.net/user/postUgkx43QMbQqu67IZadu9ou8Sg1BdrunMRNqX . No issues at all. Very happy with it.UPDATE: After 6 months of use and over 70 uses I would still highly recommend this pressure washer. It does vibrate a decent amount but never had it “walk” like others have mentioned. No oil leaks, still seems to run like the day I bought it. Still cranks within 2-3 pulls every time. Very happy with my purchase!Have used it about a dozen times now. Plenty of power, cranks up on 1-2 pulls every time. My only complaint would be I wish it was a little taller to make it easier to walk with it (hits my ankles a lot) and that the two hose connections were a little further apart but it hasn’t caused me any issues. Seems to run a good 1-1/2-2 hrs on a full tank, overall a well built machine and definitely worth the money in my opinion.
Definitely need to bleed the line of air and always hook up the water before turning it on...that part was painful to watch.

Dont run it long without water running through it. The pump will burn up if the trigger isnt pulled often. Washers are water cooled. I only know from experience

That's with any pressure washer never let the motor just run without pulling the trigger and sending water thru the line . Never start it unless it's hooked to a spicket and turned on

I just bought one today, am not sure where the oil goes. From what I saw in your video you poured it in through the gray tip (dipstick) , is that the correct way to put it? Or are you supposed to pour the oil on the other side (black tip that also says oil). ?

You Sir are very lucky you didn't destroy the pump right out the box with no water hose attached, very lucky. Got mine today and did my driveway, sidewalk, and front entry concrete slab. Knocked it out like a champ. This Dewalt is a beast.....

@@hangover123111 I originally brought a Simpson 3200 PSI and after i washed my Scat Pack Charger the pressure washer died and i got so upset that I took it back to Home D and got a refund and brought the Dewalt. Im glad I did....
Can you turn off the fuel line so that way there’s no fuel in the line when you put it away?
@@Beachbum001 I truly don't know, tried looking myself on line for answer but can't find one. Sorry .....
I know that the FUEL VALVE LEVER can be shut down/blocked when closed but as far as The Fuel Line itself being emptied before storage that with in itself I can’t tell! But if you do put it away for winter just try and remove as much fuel from the gas tank itself and make sure you properly remove water from AAA water pump and add a pump flush with added lubricant to protect from pump rusting. Good luck .
What size is the pressure hose? Is it 1/4 or 5/16? and how many psi
Where do you get 100% gas from ? Highest octane at the pumps is 94.

Just so everyone is clear !!! In the instructions it says DO NOT START THE UNIT WITHOUT THE WATER HOSE HOOKED UP AND TURNED ON.... PLEASE READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE STARTING THE UNIT!!! It’s a great piece of equipment, and will last a long time making you a lot of money , and paying for itself many times over if you maintain, and operate it properly!!! Enjoy

Jonathan Alvarez well ike some of the other guys mentioned in comments that your supposed to have the hose on it and turn it on I just tried to see if it turned and no did not smell like smoke at all

Does it take the whole pint of oil? Yesterday, out of the box (same washer - Dewalt 3600), less than half the bag of oil goes in before oil is all overflowing out of the engine and all over the driveway.
just bought the dewalt 3600 psi myself a couple days ago, i poured the whole bag in mine, it took all of it, and still did not top it off ?. i would think someone either returned the pressure washer you got ?, or..it still had oil in it from the factory ?.

@@passive_income35 Both. You first turn on the water and pull the trigger. Let the water flow until you do not hear any popping. When you are sure all the air is out then keep the trigger pulled and start your engine. Never let go the trigger until you are ready to shut it down if you can help it.

I have a question how do you lower the presurre of the pessure wash ? To wash a car ?
On the throttle adjuster lever there's a rabbit and turtle printed pretty self explanatory high and low
Maybe try reading the instructions before running it without water. Hope you got the warranty for it.

I just bought this unit and noticed it does not come with a soap dispenser. Do they sell this as a add on?

Why did you drop the sprayer on the lawn when you were through and then walked away letting it run. That is also not good for the washer.

Todo estuvo bien al inicio, pero antes de encender el motor deberías haber conectado la manguera de suministro del agua a la Bomba Presión y así evitar daños a la misma.

Thank-you for the review! I hope you have completely read both manuals by now. Please please never again ever run that machine without the water hose connected and turned on at the spigot. That is the quickest way to burn your water pump out and void your mfg. warranty. You have a great machine, but you’ve got to take care of it (winterizing, pump saver, and turning that gas switch to off when done).
You will enjoy that unit for years.
Thank you for sharing this video. As a slightly older ( over 50 ) woman who has never owned a power washer, I wasn’t sure I had set mine up correctly. It was validating to know I had. 🙂 I got a chuckle out of your time lapse when it came to screwing on the hose. They should mention in the directions that you need to really give it some muscle when trying to get the threads to catch. I had the same issue.😉

so. First mistake was not having water run through it. running it dry like that will destroy the pumps, your the reason why they won't take back gas water pressures at CT once used

@@hangover123111 Thanks for the reply. I was in the market for a pressure washer (mainly to wash my car) and I checked this one, but the user manual says NOT to use it on cars. I ended up with the Greenworks 5113402HDVT, works like a charm.

You have to select the correct tip. If you use the red tip you will damage the finish. Tips with wide fans are safe.

just picked up this very same pressure washer, i have not even cranked it over yet. i've read through every comment here. the instruction booklet clearly states, do not let the pump run dry, and do not let the engine run longer than 2 min's without pulling wand trigger. I will agree...that its best not to run the pump dry at all !. and when you do have the water connected..try not to let the engine run longer than 2 min's without pulling the wand's trigger, this allows fresh cooler water to enter the pump to keep it from over heating, which is the very reason pumps fail. all this said...these dewalt pressure washer ( the model i got anyway ) comes with a honda engine, but a china pump..which fails fast, and the company will not honor the pump warranty ?, please do your homework on these pumps before you purchase this pressure washer, and any simpson model pressure washers ?, THE PUMP IS JUNK !. i will be taking mine back for a refund, not worth the hassle. my 20 yr old craftsman 2300 psi still runs great, then again..craftsman name back then was made in usa, not today...all made in china.
