💡Tired of the hustle and bustle of big cities, I gave up my high-paying job, bid farewell to the city, returned to my hometown, and walked into the beautiful jungle. I not only built my own dream home in the jungle but also used my knowledge to help my relatives and friends repair all kinds of machines for free in my spare time. I also helped many of my Chinese fans repair machines for free.

This girl is very couragous. It reminds me a beautiful piece of Proverb Book in the Holly Bible, chapter 31 versé 10 :
Who can find a virtuous woman? for her price is far above rubies.
11 The heart of her husband doth safely trust in her, so that he shall have no need of spoil.
12 She will do him good and not evil all the days of her life.
13 She seeketh wool, and flax, and worketh willingly with her hands.
14 She is like the merchants' ships; she bringeth her food from afar.
15 She riseth also while it is yet night, and giveth meat to her household, and a portion to her maidens.
16 She considereth a field, and buyeth it: with the fruit of her hands she planteth a vineyard.
17 She girdeth her loins with strength, and strengtheneth her arms.
18 She perceiveth that her merchandise is good: her candle goeth not out by night.
19 She layeth her hands to the spindle, and her hands hold the distaff.
20 She stretcheth out her hand to the poor; yea, she reacheth forth her hands to the needy.
21 She is not afraid of the snow for her household: for all her household are clothed with scarlet.
22 She maketh herself coverings of tapestry; her clothing is silk and purple.
23 Her husband is known in the gates, when he sitteth among the elders of the land.
24 She maketh fine linen, and selleth it; and delivereth girdles unto the merchant.
25 Strength and honour are her clothing; and she shall rejoice in time to come.
26 She openeth her mouth with wisdom; and in her tongue is the law of kindness.
27 She looketh well to the ways of her household, and eateth not the bread of idleness.
28 Her children arise up, and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praiseth her.
29 Many daughters have done virtuously, but thou excellest them all.
30 Favour is deceitful, and beauty is vain: but a woman that feareth the Lord, she shall be praised.
31 Give her of the fruit of her hands; and let her own works praise her in the gates.

This is impressive work considering that most of the tools were common hardware store items; no torque wrenches, socket wrenches or crimping tools. If you gave her a professional shop to work in she would be a rock star and probably put some people out of business in the process. We need more people like her in the world that have pride in what they do.

I used to work in a repair shop, dealing with electric pool pumps. Not once did we bother with windings, which were the most common fault beyond blown starter caps, mechanical seals or bearings. Some of the larger commercial motors would have been up around 6KW, but they still got thrown out anyway. Good to see someone practicing the 'long lost art' of rewinding and a damn shame that it isn't the done thing in today's consumer society.

Her strength but lack of self preservation of health. Her adaptations to the local challenges. Her humility. Her perserverane. Her genuine girlish smiles at the end of a challenge.💥One thing for sure we may never know.. 🤔How much of the few thousand years of Chinese culture and way of life and her childhood experiences have been passed down to her? 🤔I am a Chinese diaspora living in a land far away from where I was born and often wonder about what i have lost ?? But you could need a new sturdy bench with the heavy motors and engines you repair, so I am sure it will be very rugged when you make it. You could also need a small bench with shelfs on the side of the big bench for all the parts and tools too, so good you have lot of planks now.

Wow. That brought back memories. When I was in my late teens in the 80s I worked for a motor repair shop every summer. We did exactly the same job. Although we were lucky and had some better tools. Like an hydraulic press to push the bearings in and out. And a pneumatic chisel to cut the windings. But other than that, all the steps were the same. Nowadays all those repair shops are gone. I guess it's cheaper for companies to buy a new motor than to pay somebody for the repair work. It's sad if you ask me.

In a time where creating electric motors is an almost completely automated proces (for new engines), it is fascinating to see how masterfully and skilfully you recreate/restore this big motor. Watched it now for a 2nd time (..) with a lot of joy. When the sounds in the background are just water flowing and nature it gives a calming feeling. Thank you Lin Guo'er. I really like the real time video play 😉💙🫶🏻

Really enjoy seeing her working and her dexterity. This is definitely not an act, a pure skill. She really knows her stuff. Though i really want to see her testing of the motor after rewinding (before the instalation).

Who is able to run an 11kw motor at home? I know I can't. Yes, the motor will not be under load, but the startup current can be a substantial fraction of the motor rating.

@@gorillaau Thanks to the power of 3-phase 400V 50hz AC, typical wattage available ranges from 11.2kw for a small apartment to 43kw for a larger single family house that has 63amp breakers, but more is possible.

@@gorillaau Im from Germany, and most if not all houses have a 3-phase 400V supply, many things from electrical water heaters to kitchen gear like electrical ovens and induction cooking tops require it.

    • @hernerweisenberg7052
      @hernerweisenberg7052 2 года назад

@@gorillaau Its mainly due to the efficiancy i guess, since it gets produced as 3-phase in the power plant, its more effective to use 3 phase for power hungry equipment. If you run too much stuff of single phase, it is very hard to balance the load on all 3 phases equally, and asymetric load is not good ;)

I personally rebuilt and repaired a triple phase electric motor from ... get this 1961. First repair after 61 years of service. Incredible stuff! I rebuilt it, sprayed it and gave it an anticorrosion coating along with new bearings. I have to say it is tight as a drum, regardless of the age. True quality ages gracefully. Very diligent and precise work. Wonderful craftsmanship. You can repair this unit - it is solid built and of quality materials. However the majority of units on the market now are useless and unrepairable.
