My dividend journey began when I realized that two particular expenses in my budget were always going to go up and never go down. The two expenses were taxes and insurance. I realized that the dramatic rise in both will need some added income. So, I started buying shares paying dividends. I can now see that this will be the path I need to take to make sure those two expenses will not overtake my future income.

Yes, I've been in constant touch with a Financial Analyst for approximately 8 months. You know, these days it's really easy to buy into trending stocks, but the task is determining when to sell or keep. That's where my manager comes in, to help me with entry and exit points in the industries I'm engaged in. Can’t say I regret it, I’m 40% up in profits just in 5months with my initial capital of $160k.
How can one find a verifiable financial planner? I would not mind looking up the professional that helped you. I might need some management on my much larger portfolio. Don't want to take any chances.
Certainly, there are a handful of experts in the field. I've experimented with a few over the past years, but I've stuck with Carol Vivian Constable for about five years now, and her performance has been consistently impressive. She’s quite known in her field, look-her up.
Dividend investing is my jam! I'm building wealth with a buy-and-hold strategy in my Roth account, featuring rockstars like Berkshire B stock, SCHD, and S&P 500 and total market ETFs. My taxable account is also getting in on the action, generating regular income through dividend-paying stocks. It's a winning combo that's helping me achieve my financial dreams!
Your strategy is a perfect example of a solid plan! Combining dividend stocks with a buy-and-hold approach sets you up for success.it's clear you've done your research. Yet, I still think consulting with expert advisors can take your success to the next level. They can offer valuable insights, help you mitigate risks, and optimize your strategy for even greater returns.

I like investing in close-end funds that pay monthly dividends. The trick is to hold long term and reinvest the monthly dividends plus buy more shares on a monthly basis or when ever you can afford to. This can be easily done because close-end funds are bought and sold on the stock market just like regular stock. That’d be enough to create a portfolio that would pay you between $50k to $70k in dividend income
Just because there are opportunities in the market doesn’t mean you should go in blindly. To understand the potential factors that contribute to your financial growth, I'll advise you to seek the help of a professional
I completely agree; I am 60 years old, recently retired, and have approximately $1,250,000 in external retirement funds. I am debt free and have very little money in retirement funds compared to the total value of my portfolio over the past three years. To be honest, having a portfolio-advisor for investing is genius!

You should look at energy stocks , they look to be the biggest beneficiaries of AI and Data centers , also DCAing into a good ETF too ...Prioritize patience and a long-term perspective most importantly consider financial advisory for informed buying and selling decisions.
Based on my own experience working with an investment advisor, I currently have $1 million in a well-diversified portfolio that has grown exponentially. It takes more than just money to invest in stocks; you must also be knowledgeable, persistent, and have strong hands.
This is definitely considerable! think you could suggest any professional/advisors i can get on the phone with? i'm in dire need of proper portfolio allocation
"Laurelyn Gross Pohlmeier," a well-known authority in this field. I would recommend looking into her credentials more because she has a great deal of expertise and is a great resource for anybody looking for advice on how to navigate the financial market.

Dividend-paying companies may not bring remarkable price increase, but they can provide a steady income stream. Markets had renewed purchasing vigor in October and November of last year. I want to invest more than $240k but I'm not sure how to reduce risk.
Hearing from an experienced investor who has survived the crisis and prospered is always comforting. It could be worrisome when your portfolio goes from green to red, but if you have invested in strong firms, you should just keep growing them and stick to your goal.
I wholeheartedly concur, which is why I appreciate giving an investment coach the power of decision-making. Given their specialized expertise and education, as well as the fact that each and every one of their skills is centered on harnessing risk for its asymmetrical potential and controlling it as a buffer against certain unfavorable developments, it is practically impossible for them to underperform. I have made over 1.5 million dollars working with an investment coach for more than two years.
Thanks for the information!! She appears to be well-knowledgeable and accredited. I ran a Google search on her name and came across his website, thanks for sharing.
I am at the beginning of my "investment journey", planning to put 85K into dividend stocks so that I will be making up to 30% per year in dividend returns. Any advice?.
Investing without proper guidance can lead to mistakes and losses. I've learned this from my own experience. If you're new to investing or don't have much time, it's best to get advice from an expert.
The issue is people have the "I want to do it myself mentality" but not equipped enough for a crash, hence get burnt. Ideally, advisors are reps for investing jobs, and at first-hand encounter, my portfolio has yielded over 300% since 2020 just after the pandemic to date.
Thanks for sharing. I curiously searched for her full name and her website popped up immediately. I looked through her credentials and did my due diligence before contacting her.
Here's the thing...If you building one share at a time, your DRIP isn't going to be buying you a whole share at first. So that first few drips gonna be buying you fractional shares. Also why take the risk of buying individual stocks for dividends when you could buy a dividend ETF and get the safety of diversification while still getting to the dividend yield you want?
@@vsioljones2549 yes you could in my opinion. the div etf are safer In general and you take more risk off the table cause it's spread out among multiple companies inside the etf, plus the piece of mind knowing the theybare only going to put the best companies inside the etf and you don't need to worry. I like that idea.
@@vsioljones2549 Look no further than AT&T and 3M as to why you don't buy individual stocks. Dividend provides the security of not having your investment wiped out by a single company.
@msve3730 Index funds and ETFs are similar in there description. So i get your question. I dont know the text book diffrence between the two. But ETFs tend to be more category specific. Index funds are more broad. My point was that individual stock investing is more "risky" that investing in ETFs just due to how a ETF is designed (or index fund) becuae you get more than one stocks performance in a bundle. With Dividends I like the approuch of saftey 1 ( not losing money or losing the absolute least amount possible over time) 2. (securing at least a moderate rate of growth in the assests over time) 3. Consistent growing of dividends. Which to me you get all that with a ETF focused dividend portfolio.
You make it very plain to me. Thank you sir for sharing this. It may be a little late for me but I can start setting up my grandkids and great grands. Thank you again. Glad I came across this video!
I lost over $80k when everything started to tank. Not because I was in an exchange that went belly up. I was just stupid to hold and because that's what everyone said. I'm still responsible. It just taught me to be a better investor now that I understand more of what could go wrong. It took me over two years of being in the market, I'm really grateful I found one source to recover my money, at least $10k profits weekly. Thanks Charlotte Grace Miller.
I'm surprised that you just mentioned and recommended Charlotte Miller, I met her at a conference in 2018 and we have been working together ever since.
I'm celebrating a $30k stock portfolio today. started this journey with 6k. I have invested on time and also with the right terms now I have time for my family and the life ahead of me
I just withdrew my profits a week ago, To be honest it was an amazing feeling when the profits hits my wallet I wish I could reinvest but, too much bills
I think you should have been more clear starting the video that these are annual dividends vs monthly. Makes a huge difference in context and understanding. Apologies if I missed it, however.
Great video, I would just add that most dividends are paid quarterly. So the 1k is over 3 months. You definitely want to fact that in your calculations so you can get to the desired amount you want per month.
12:14.... I watch you and coach. Had I not diversified my watch time I would have never gotten started. Fractional shares allow beginners to put the tools y'all give us into practice. Allowing us to learn while minimizing great loss while navigating thru lessons. IHI I'm in because of you. Bought 1 share and buying at lower costs in fractions as I can afford. Just taught my 17 year old ALL of this last night. I have formulas in Excel that automatically total everything once I input my.numbers. it's great! I need to share it with you one day.

No disrespect but you are wrong... Believe it or not, the market isn't as bad as some people have made it look... Companies are making record profits... In all honesty, as a beginner investor who knows next to nothing, I have made over $15k net profit in a few months... I was retrenched recently, and I am using these resources to keep body and soul together that I want.
Hi Mr.Anthony, your profit margin is quite impressive for a beginner. Good for you!!!! can you share your spreadsheet or trading journal?? inadvertently, i sold a boatload of my portfolio recently.
I have never drawn up a spreadsheet or trading journal, it's of no relevance to me... I follow Kelly Matwick's investing instructions & techniques... You can look her up she's a certified FA.
What are the best strategies to protect my portfolio? I've heard that a downturn will devastate the financial market, so I'm concerned about my $200k stock portfolio.
There are strategies that could be put in place for solid gains regardless of economy situation, but such execution is usually carried out by an investment specialist
I can only speak from my experience when I advise seeking professional advice. It looks like a smart bet if you don't know where to get an experienced one, but if you don't know anything about the market.
I have a female advisor named Stacy Lynn Staples I recommend researching her. To be very honest, I'm glad I decided to let someone handle expanding my finances even though I almost didn't think I should.
Thanks for sharing. I searched her full name and found her website instantly. After reviewing her credentials and conducting due diligence, I reached out to her.
I recently sold some of my long-term position and currently sitting on about 250k, do you think Nvidia is a good buy right now or I have I missed out on a crucial buy period, any good stock recommendation on great performing stocks will be appreciated.
Based on personal experience working with an investment advisor, I currently have $1m in a well-diversified portfolio that has experienced exponential growth. It's not only about having money to invest in stocks, but you also need to be knowledgeable, persistent, and have strong hands to back it up.
i'm intrigued by this. I've searched for financial advisors online but it's kind of hard to get in touch with one. Okay if I ask you for a recommendation?
'Laurelyn Gross Pohlmeier' a highly respected figure in her field. I suggest delving deeper into her credentials, as she possesses extensive experience and serves as a valuable resource for individuals seeking guidance in navigating the financial market.
You still need to consider the price you buy at. You will get your dividend, but your equity will drop. The dividend WON'T cover the the difference depending on how much your equity drops. The dividend CAN get REDUCED AND/OR CUT altogether.
I've started to notice that a few months ago. It caused me to rethink my ficus on dividend sticks. In-turn, if this is a correct method,? I focused more on buying the dips/price drops to try and achieve the 'bottom price' to lessen the chance of losing equity. Not fool proof, but was best strategy I could reason.
Another helpful video for introducing people to the different aspects of investing. I decided to create a portfolio that focused on dividend income and figured this out a few months ago while looking at REITs. At first, I was thinking I would profit $1k per month until I realized that the rate was yearly with a quarterly dividend; there are some that pay a monthly dividend. That $1k is a little more than $83/mo., which means that I have to up my investments, if I want more than $83/mo.🤔 My goal is to have enough dividend income to cover my housing expenses. 🙂
My Big 10: MSFT, AAPL, AMZN, TSLA, JPM, MCD, DIS, V, MA, & AMEX. 10 Vanguard ETFs to broaden my portfolio. Listening to Trap so I picked 3 stocks to go hard in (AAPL, JPM, & V).💡
@@J-Mark444 yep and while you funding your portfolio just keep studying and learning the game. From options to everything about a company so once you have it built you have good knowledge on it

All faaaaaaaaacccccctttttssss. My condo, I put $60K down to acquire it. I'm making ~$250 a month. There are monthly paying dividend stocks that would pay me $500 a month. The only difference is I'm paying taxes on the dividends. But I'm not dealing with tenants, repairs, etc.
You shouldn’t be dealing with tenants any that’s your first mistake. If you buy right repairs happen later. And when it dies it’s a write off. Dividends aren’t a tax shelter. You need to combine the two.
16:00 got me weak as hell 😂 even he know that’s bs. The ghost laughing in the background too !! 167k invested too yield ONLY 1k/month in dividends is wicked 😂😂🤦🏾♂️
People (especially black folks) will fight the idea of spending $167,000 on Costco stocks to get $1,000/month in dividends (passive income)…. ….but then they’ll go to the Mercedes dealer and finance a $167,000 G Wagon which will COST them $1,000/month at 10% interest, spending probably $267,000 over the course of 5-6 years 🤦🏽♂️. Anyways, I love this video man, as I’m just entering the stock market arena. 👍🏽👍🏽
"Thank you". I am from inner city Baltimore. You style has helped me mentor some of the neighborhood kids. The plus and junkie metaphor helped. I got 5 of them to begin investing. Hopefully they stick with it.
This💯. I use to be connected to other platforms and I did forex trades, option trade and etc on a daily basis but it was very time consuming with the many hats I wear on top of life and job changes. OK. Recap UP paying the best dividend for amount invested. Also note UP is a big railroad back home in Louisiana too. The dividends pay every month, without fail?
Instead of a drip . Would it not be better to look at possibly another dividend share that may be cheaper the drip stock may be higher in price at the time. What say you my man !

Is it safe to say that the dividend percentage is relative to the price of each share? So if the share price fluctuates, that means the dividend payout (DRIP) amount will also fluctuate. Also, when stock price rises, so does the dividend amount as it is pegged to the percentage of the dividend. 🤔 I think I am on the right track. Please correct me if I'm wrong 🙂

The issue is people have the "I want to do it myself mentality" but not equipped enough for a crash, hence get burnt. Ideally, advisors are reps for investing jobs, and at first-hand encounter, my portfolio has yielded over 300% since 2020 just after the pandemic to date.
Glad to have stumbled on this comment, Please who is the consultant that assist you and if you don't mind, how do I get in touch with them?
Julianne Iwersen Niemann can't divulge much. Most likely, the internet should have her basic info, you can research if you like..
Making sense here, but couldn’t you apply the same strategy for the dividend ETF?
@@vsioljones2549 yes you could in my opinion. the div etf are safer In general and you take more risk off the table cause it's spread out among multiple companies inside the etf, plus the piece of mind knowing the theybare only going to put the best companies inside the etf and you don't need to worry. I like that idea.
@@vsioljones2549 Look no further than AT&T and 3M as to why you don't buy individual stocks. Dividend provides the security of not having your investment wiped out by a single company.
I thought those were considered index funds. Meaning you buy a bulk of different stocks at once instead of one stock at a time.
The very first time we tried, we invested $1400 and after a week, we received $5230. That really helped us a lot to pay up our bills.
I'm celebrating a $30k stock portfolio today. started this journey with 6k. I have invested on time and also with the right terms now I have time for my family and the life ahead of me
I'm new at this, please how can I reach her?
I just withdrew my profits a week ago, To be honest it was an amazing feeling when the profits hits my wallet I wish I could reinvest but, too much bills
I think you should have been more clear starting the video that these are annual dividends vs monthly.
Makes a huge difference in context and understanding. Apologies if I missed it, however.
Right, I kept doing the calculations on my monthly dividends and it’s not even close
EXACTLY THIS IS WRONG
So that 47,000 gets you 1000 a year?
Great video, I would just add that most dividends are paid quarterly. So the 1k is over 3 months. You definitely want to fact that in your calculations so you can get to the desired amount you want per month.
Ok I was wondering if this was 1000 per month, qtr, year..
I HAVE TO REPLAY THIS. BUT I FINALLY GET IT. THANK YOU TRAP. PLEASE DO A $500 MONTHLY INCOME.
Activated Drip as well. All others are $1 stocks and I'm applying the blueprint. 2 weeks up by 13%. Once I learn to chart I'll be well more versed. Thanks again ❤
Trap love and admire what you're doing for all the people that have no knowledge of the markets,PROUD of you brother.
Whoa! Trap just gave us the formula for free!!! 🔥🔥🔥💯💯💯 best dividend investing video I’ve saw yet!!!
Just taught my 17 year old ALL of this last night. I have formulas in Excel that automatically total everything once I input my.numbers. it's great! I need to share it with you one day.
So many years and i never understood you make it so comprehensive!
I'm learning little by little. Though I'm felling FOMO because I'm staying disciplined on pulling the trigger on anything until I understand everything
You know that he knows his people. I was like Costco? Over 100,000? You cray cray. But I remember from previous post I need to change my thinking and not focus on the price but the objective. So to the gym I go, we trappin.
If one would have invested in Costco when Covid hit they would have made 400% capital appreciation. Quadruple your money in 4 years!
Draped up and dripped out. Know what I'm talkin bout.
Lol. Cute, but pay attention to the lesson.❤

Always interested in learning about making or saving money. I can not wait to see the $500 break down The best one I LOVED was The making of the Portfolio after you saved up the $1000 to $1500 dollars Keep teaching cause I am going back feom the old and new to learn. Thank you
I feel it's getting harder to predict market trends post covid. Market volatility is at an all-time high.
She is one of my favorite female fin advisor.
Do you look at monthly charts?
What are the best strategies to protect my portfolio? I've heard that a downturn will devastate the financial market, so I'm concerned about my $200k stock portfolio.
There are strategies that could be put in place for solid gains regardless of economy situation, but such execution is usually carried out by an investment specialist
I can only speak from my experience when I advise seeking professional advice. It looks like a smart bet if you don't know where to get an experienced one, but if you don't know anything about the market.
Mind if I ask you recommend this particular professional you use their service? i need all the guidance I can get.
Palantir, ARM and Nvidia are all still good buy, but what do I know I’m not a financial advisor lol
I just googled her now and I'm really impressed with her credentials. I reached out to her since I need all the assistance I can get.
Fantastic video! Thanks for sharing and keeping us financially updated, I hit another $70k today day trading even though I barely trade myself
Oh yeah, that was possible with the help of my Guru Jenifer Spencer
She's a licensed broker and successful entrepreneur from the state
The best strategy is starting with a professional coach, as a beginner who knows little or nothing in forex market
Wow! Kind of in shock you mentioned expert, Jenifer Spencer. What a coincidence
You don't have to be amazed, there are a lot of people working with her. I'm one of her client from Texas
We building generational wealth with this one
Keep building! 💪🏿
You still need to consider the price you buy at. You will get your dividend, but your equity will drop. The dividend WON'T cover the the difference depending on how much your equity drops. The dividend CAN get REDUCED AND/OR CUT altogether.
Don’t buy yield traps..
Facts
This was great i have watch alot of dividends videos but this one is the only one that i could understand i like how u broke it down great video
Love This Teaching! ❤Yes, please share low, mid and high range prices for those with small entry amounts! Thanks
Costco right now is $900 a share. I wish I would’ve got in a long time ago.
I snatched them up a year ago, never selling
my dude, you a real one! i’ve been watching yr vids for months. keep it bro!! i’m sharing your videos! thank you so much 🙏🏾
Free money formula! WE TRAPPIN!!!
Thanks!
My Big 10: MSFT, AAPL, AMZN, TSLA, JPM, MCD, DIS, V, MA, & AMEX.
10 Vanguard ETFs to broaden my portfolio. Listening to Trap so I picked 3 stocks to go hard in (AAPL, JPM, & V).💡
That’s why it’s good to master the options game so we can dividend invest with no problem
I’m slowly building my portfolio when I get it to where I want that’s the next focus 🔥🔥🔥
@@J-Mark444 yep and while you funding your portfolio just keep studying and learning the game. From options to everything about a company so once you have it built you have good knowledge on it
Facts!
There's nothing wrong with fractional shares. Every little bit helps
I was expecting Home Depot on the last one, I'm not gonna lie 😂😂
But Costco Trap damn nearly 1,000$ share, but we trapping we gotta change the mindset✍️🏾✍️🏾✍️🏾
I would get the LEAPS of these companies and execute the options for the dividend yeild. Thats 100 shares per option.
Once I make the dividend... where do it go? If I don't do anything with it, does it stay with the share?
New subscriber...right on Trapp! I love the way you break down information!
16:16 Trapper. I hear your crew stomping in the background. Trapper tell me what you thinking
Where do you find if a company has that special dividend payment by the company.
I'm about to start DRIPPING Trap🙏🏿🙌🏿 New to all this and don't know where to start, but I'm gonna DRIP when I do! Thank you and be blessed😊
A that Costco probably made people feel some type away😂😂😂
Thx for the DIV breakdown
Are you dollar cost averaging for the dividend play or buying on the dip, both Trap? Thanks
Special dividends make a difference 😊
Sounds better than a rental property for 60-80k
All faaaaaaaaacccccctttttssss. My condo, I put $60K down to acquire it. I'm making ~$250 a month.
There are monthly paying dividend stocks that would pay me $500 a month.
The only difference is I'm paying taxes on the dividends. But I'm not dealing with tenants, repairs, etc.
Thanks for the insight
You shouldn’t be dealing with tenants any that’s your first mistake. If you buy right repairs happen later. And when it dies it’s a write off. Dividends aren’t a tax shelter. You need to combine the two.
Big question ... what is the ratio the pay dividens on ...is a it daily...weekly or monthly???
I love this Dude 🔥💎😂💰🥊…knowledge is power 🔥💎🔥
You’re a GREAT teacher
How often do the divided pay? Quarterly????
16:00 got me weak as hell 😂 even he know that’s bs. The ghost laughing in the background too !! 167k invested too yield ONLY 1k/month in dividends is wicked 😂😂🤦🏾♂️
4:29 that snowball takes off
People (especially black folks) will fight the idea of spending $167,000 on Costco stocks to get $1,000/month in dividends (passive income)….
This is the DRIP that I like to talk about ❤. We DRIPPING Trap!
We Trappin!
Yes breaking down the math helped alot. I learned more from this video. Then the past years
"Thank you".
And I was tired of people boasting on what they got and not giving you the real game. It was just a modern rat game, bunny chaaing a carrot he would bever get.
This is life changing and I'm starting right now. I am grateful to have come across ypur videos
This is what I desired for the people for a very long time. I would like to connect and perhaps provide some options to add to the build. This is probably better than a Dave Ramsey.
From the 1st example, where did you get the £5.20 from?
Great INFO!!! ☺
We drippin Trap
Thanks so much for the knowledge. I’m saving up to get in the options course
Thank you king ... Im gon study the heck out this formula 🥰🥰
Loved this video. Very informative. Thank you.
Question I understand everything you said but specifically how do I buy the shares do I go to a website where do I go to?
As I'm watching, Costco is at $876. Shows the growth that the company has.
I love you for this because you showing us that investing is not a get rich quick scheme. It’s going to take time to build out your portfolio and get to that goal you want for yourself. So thank you!
You buggin with Costco 😂😂 but this video was so good!!! 👏🏾🔥 I put together a spreadsheet to strategically choose my $1k plays.
Thanks for that formula Trap!
Love the video! Straight and to the point. Definitely would recommend even as a beginner
❤❤❤this was dope literature….;however, can you break down when payments will be paid out per company so it can be more clear when we would get A return! Quarterly , monthly, or yearly.
Trapp, you are DOPE, you're Real you speaking real truth to power and what I love about you make it real easy for a brother to get it I try to school all my young hood brothers about you so they can get it I'm All on board with you Trapp.
I like DRIP but i don't want my dividends being automatically reinvested if the stock price is high that particular day that my dividends are being reinvested
Whats the breakdown of this 1000 dollars is it every time the dividend payment is issued
How do I start..
Great vid very simple and broke down for the AVE peeps to follow 👏👏👏👏
I like investing in close-end funds that pay monthly dividends. The trick is to hold long term and reinvest the monthly dividends plus buy more shares on a monthly basis or whenever you can afford to. This can be easily done because close-end funds are bought and sold on the stock market like regular stock. That’d be enough to create a portfolio that would pay you between $50k to $70k in dividend income
The availability of opportunities in the market doesn’t mean you should go in blindly. To understand the potential factors that contribute to your financial growth, I'll advise you to seek the help of a professional
I agree; I have about $1m in external retirement funds. I am debt free and have very little money in retirement funds compared to the total value of my portfolio over the past three years. To be honest, having a portfolio-advisor for investing is genius!
How can I contact your Asset-coach as my portfolio is dwindling?
Stacy Lynn Staples is the licensed advisor I use. Just search the name. You’d find necessary details to work with to set up an appointment.
Interesting. I am on her site doing my due diligence. She seems proficient. I wrote her an email and scheduled a phone call.
What stocks pay monthly dividends?
BIG TRAPP THIS NEVER GET OLD, MUCH APPRECIATED
Is the Simon investment more risky? Why is the payout so high ?
Ok Trapper. I see u. But if this 12:59 one stock takes up all of my investment money ( i only bring home $1100 a month) what should I do?
I don’t wanna limit myself. I should diversify.
What's good big cousin, thanks for the information because I really need it . I'm going to figure it out because I'm tired of losing in my life. Keep up the amazing work

Thank you Trap.. I just gotta bowdown my guy, like u said every paycheck buy a share.. Im on it bro..
Protect this brotha at all cost not much people really paying attention to what he saying … respect to wall street trapper
Costco ain’t gonna do it, because they wanna keep them hot dogs at $1.50 😂
Is it safe to say that the dividend percentage is relative to the price of each share? So if the share price fluctuates, that means the dividend payout (DRIP) amount will also fluctuate. Also, when stock price rises, so does the dividend amount as it is pegged to the percentage of the dividend. 🤔 I think I am on the right track. Please correct me if I'm wrong 🙂
Big Trap, appreciate the information and the knowledge!!
Thank you for the knowledge Trap.
This video is so helpful! Gratitude Trap!
