The diference between Athena and Ares during war is that Ares was a commander... He had all the strategies required to win in battles and knew how to devestate the enemy forces. Athena on the other hand was a tactician... She didn't depend on victories in battle to win a war. She would come up with plans to destroy the enemy defences or discourage their forces. It was she, who instructed the Greeks to build the trojan horse...

At the end of the day everything is a copy, right? Games can't usually be good without taking inspiration from somewhere. Pantheon has a different passive, he doesn't have a taunt, he doesn't have anything like the shield wall, finally his ultimate isn't as reliable and has an AOE. They are both pretty different. At the end of the day, even if she did have EXACTLY the same abilities her play-style would be completely different because it's a different game.
Lol, Athena's confound used to do damage.
I think that was just a mistype in the script. Take a look at 3:33 her taunt didn't seem to do any damage.

yo it's a genre are other games before dota like it? no its a genre :). Also smite =skill shots not like other mobas where u click a god then gg. actually has more circumstances put into the mix making it more interesting.
