      I'm sure he's nice enough, learned and well-meaning, but for all of this new-age, highly theoretical training, there is no existential evidence, whatsoever, that it makes Bivol or anyone else a better fighter. That is, whether or not training in the simple, old-school tradition, which itself had been fostered and honed over a shit-ton of experience, both longitudinally through time and latitudinally across tens of thousands of fighters from every continent on Earth, would have served Bivol better is still an outstanding question that no one--not even the trainer here--can answer in a definitive way, let alone with confidence.

    • @laylanddawson2294
      @laylanddawson2294 6 месяцев назад +3

      S&C coach definitely needs his flowers!
      French contrast training bro. the static holds immediately followed by the explosive max effort pulls, extensions, presses etc. is the most scientifically backed method of increasing recruitment of short twitch muscle fibres.
      the little to no resistance is to mitigate fatigue since the movements are meant to be done at 100% intensity. Heavy lifting would be incorporated in a separate session or after the explosive stuff is done.
      This style of training has only been recently making its way into more mainstream athletic programs but it’s been a mainstay for throwing athletes since the 70s if i’m not mistaken and those guys are explosive as fuck
      Definitely look into it man, this shit will have you throwing weight around like nothing.

    Bovo need more heavy weigh muscle, cause the onky way he beating Arthur is not fighting his game or you get knockout. He need to fight the safest place and beat him in the trench as he did canelo. And nobody mention Arthur power , that why he lost. He need to take the punch on the glove and arm and hook and side step to the left and right hook keeping it mix up so he incontrol . Then Arthur has to working on breaking that control by rushing in hoping to back up bivo as he does other. Bivo need to side step the rush, and he hold a glove over their face in the quench and he loop a right hook over the top he ko 3 guy this way and body bouncing them of the rope and timing them on the bouncy his favorite ko he got dropp twice, why? He lower his left after retuning in bac up close. So he open for straight rights . And now his tube show him curing heavy weight and all arm and chest training

    • @thomas4315
      @thomas4315 19 часов назад

      The far away the longer the stroke and the harder the punch. Fight him close he need to hold both arm up so he has less power here.
