I had mowed some that day already and it was wet. I cleaned the deck off after I sharpened the blade, lol.

Blades should be removed for sharpening, so they can be balanced.
Yes, I'm sure that is correct. I just wanted to do a quick and easy sharpening. I could tell quite a bit of a difference with how it cut after using this tool on the blade.
