Love that this game has you fight wacky sea monsters before suddenly you’re burning Godzilla fighting Ebirah of all kaiju. I do appreciate them bringing that lobster back, original roar in tact
It is nice to know Ebirah actually gets some massive respect here. Outside the final boss it is the boss that takes the longest to go down. So it probably has the second highest health.
Lusca is actually a secret epilogue boss….. like after you get all the Marinca cards and of course completing the game after defeating Yawie the Altered Anomalocaris, a secret boss card will reveal in the Nocturnal section.

Loved the Godzilla vs Ebirah fight!!! Let me be upfront, I did not expect to see Godzilla here... Me just getting into this franchise because of seeing my favorite oceanic beast has peaked my interest in sight that is as clear as glass wiped with windex!

They should've used Showa Godzilla 1966 instead of Burning Godzilla. Would've made much more sense, but I guess they don't want Showa Godzilla in any crossovers.

Honestly, kinda sucks that everyone is calling the Lusca boss in this game Sharktopus, when the folklore behind Lusca is what INSPIRED the movie to be made in the first place. I know Sharktopus is more well known than the actual folklore behind it, but a simple google search isn't that hard. :/ That said, I never expected this game to get GODZILLA as dlc of all things, but from watching a lil bit of this video. I might actually get the game. It looks hella fun. (Plus it has Godzilla and EBIRAH OF ALL KAIJU in it! Gotta appreciate seeing our favorite crustacean kaiju again!!)

I see it as they finally beefed up Ebirah so he's an actual threat, something Toho should have done in his movie after they had to replace King Kong with Godzilla.
Other way around, dude. Sharktopus was based off the creature, Lusca is from Carribean folklore, which is said to be a monster taking the appearance of a half shark/half octopus creature, living in the blue holes near the Bahamas. Hence why it looks like this in game.
