Shigekix has the best technique(especially freezes) in the business and he might have won if Flea Rock hadn’t pulled some nasty tricks out of his classic bboy style.
if you honestly believe those theatrics won him the battle, that's fair. They were old school, and they are indeed cherished and rarely seen nowadays. Shigekix was the superior bboy in that battle hands down, across the board. Flea is a beautiful image of back in the day bboying and Shigekix is a product of the future, as the culture can only evolve and grow (Shigekix being a perfect example of such). Judging in bboying can be as janky or even more janky than Boxing at times. But i respect all the opinions as there is no certain truth, just whom we felt won.
I believe this was a strategical mistake from Shigekix. He kinda overkilled it in his first battle, Johnny wasn't that much of a rival. If Shigekix saved his signatures for the next battles then who knows... he might have been the 2x champ . Sad. but he definitely learned the lesson from what happened next

E esse ano na Last Chance Cypher, se classificava os semifinalistas, , coisa que já deveria ter sido mudada há tempos porquê na Last Chance só vem vencedores de vários países, aí era totalmente injusto só ir uma pessoa pra final Mundial. E não tem essa de só ter os melhores, também tem a ver com a sua vontade de estar lá, com sua luta.

Flea lost that battle, what he did was basic. The judges were biased and Shingekix got robbed plain and simple.
