Great video and insight! What's interesting is recruiters using AI to not only create job descriptions but to do the interviews. Yet, when an applicant uses AI to create an ATS friendly resume and cover letter it's frowned upon by the recruiter.

And what exactly would a front end engineer be doing at Reddit? The UI has been largely the same since 2015 lol

    Great information as always
    This is amazing!!
waiting for the day when AI will start their startup and start hiring people!

It looks like the quality control on that promo was completed by the same AI as what generated the content 😅
It's such a sloppy implementation, they are not even trying to make anything qualitative, putting their focus on claiming to be first instead.
The appropriate response is to use AI to apply IMO, this is nonsensical.
On the plus side, companies treating recruitment that way instead of seeking human connections will not be able to hire the best people nor build very good teams, company culture etc... and their mediocrity will make them ready to be disrupted.

So recruiters use Ai to generate job descriptions which will then be used by candidates who use AI to generate resumes that optimize for "perfect match" and so we live in a AI bubble where AI tools basically match Ai generated content...then AI recruiter avatars interview AI interviewee avatars hmmmm..... 🤣

Wow, this is one Ai negative I hadn’t thought of, yikes
I’ve been embracing Ai 100 for content creation for self and clients for over a year and a half and have told many friends and associates those that embrace Ai will survive over those that don’t in whatever profession in.

Excellent assessment Goda! You break this topic down to all of its elements and you explain very thoroughly each point. I found this information interesting and helpful. Thank you! P.S. What do I think about this? I think it’s a bit scary and somewhat intimidating but it makes us understand that this new way of job-getting will require us to be even better prepared and more knowledgeable.

I'm so displeased with the direction of "AI"/machine learning application took that watching your channel is a masochistic experience for me.

I am both pleased about your comment. And sad to hear it at the same time. I promise more positive content coming. But it's just been quite frustrating for me too. But there are great jams out there. 💃

I too am curious to see how this will work for hiring junior tech positions. We are not ready to be using AI for hiring.
In your video, you showed a guy making his AI avatar. Can you show us how to do that? I enjoy the way you explain complicated projects.
Thanks for this video, it was enlightening.

Thank you so much for your comment! And it is a great idea, I want to create my own AI avatar that people can talk to. hah. it's on the agenda for a video. :))

This is why it's called "Artificial" Intelligence because it's utterly stupid.

that product feels like a lazy and gross money grab. its not ready for primetime. wouldn't touch it in any way, and dont get me started on the tokens

I think they are solving a real problem, and it could be implemented better. But my sense is current state AI is not there yet to perform task like these. If you know prompting just a bit, you can prompt hack that live interview easily :D or steer the conversation to how you want it to go.

This is horrible. How does A.I. measure character?

    • @godago
      @godago  7 месяцев назад +1

That kind of also baffles me. We know that today AI fails on reasoning quite often. We know it hallucinates a lot. But yet, we trust it to judge human character. Isn’t that interesting..
