Hi mate, thanks so much for the kind comments! That's a funny story about how you became a Brechin supporter and it's pretty amazing that they're famous for a hedge of all things! Cheers for watching my videos, glad you enjoy them. More coming soon!

Just seen your Angus videos and as a gable ender living in Sheffield , it made me homesick. Lunan Bay was looking beautiful. Me and the Mrs drove up to the final game of the season when we clinched promotion a couple of seasons ago. I will never forget the helicopter landing at the beach with the trophy. We even got to celebrate on the pitch with the players. A great day ( even better night) in the long history of Montrose. Come on the Gable Endies

Lovely Angus, a beautiful county.and what a beautiful & charming ground. Way back in the late 60’s I played in the under 18 boys club league & in the following season in the Juvenile League, the league was based in Perth and the local area, and Cooper Angus Juveniles also played in this league. Brechin gets to call itself by the ancient precedent of having a cathedral. It is, in fact, a biggish village, scarcely a town. The most extreme case of cathedral = city is St. Davids in Wales. It's on about a fifth the size of Brechin, but it has a cathedral.
I love these videos, it brings these clubs to life and not just a name on page. When covid-19 is over could you go back to each of these clubs and do something more in-depth with the guys who run them.
The beach you were at at the start is Lunan Beach. Glad you enjoyed your time here in Montrose. Can see the roof of my mums house in the background when you're at Links Park haha 🙂
Angus has such beautiful little towns that just seem so homely and welcoming, definitely a place worth revisiting. It's sad that Brechin have since been relegated and might miss out on promotion back to League Two this season, although it is a pretty tight race with Buckie Thistle.
They sound a very friendly club with a real nice chairman. I went to my first ever game in Scotland a couple of years back. Inverness Caley Thistle V Morton. A 1-1 draw. I had wanted to go to a game there for many years. The fans are very passionate and friendly. I have sat in one of the stands at Berwick FC. Brora Rangers may well be my local club if all goes well.
Yeah some of the people up in Angus were so nice on my trip! Thanks for watching. Hopefully you can get to some games up here once restrictions are lifted
Nice one again. I think its not luck but effort that gets you into the grounds. Look forward to the next one. Ps Dont forget the Bankies and Kilbowie Park.

I'm from northern Ireland and support Inverness caley thistle so would love to see a video on them one day. Angus, God’s country. Weather like this is not unusual, it’s one of the coldest parts of the UK but also one of the driest. Arbroath has one of the best natural pitches in the country, Forfar did too but went 3G as the pitch never floods but does freeze a lot. Montrose recently replaced their first artificial pitch with a newer more modern one. Brechin’s pitch is much improved now but was terrible for a while and didn’t drain well at all. I hope you come back when times are normal and get into Links Park and Station Park, both clubs are as welcoming as Arbroath and Montrose, hopefully you also meet Dick Campbell who is Arbroath manager but had long spells managing Forfar and Brechin and is still loved at both clubs and is one the biggest characters in football anywhere in the world.
