Brody milk #glass, china and much more thrift #shopping at a Goodwill thrift shop in Avon, Connecticut. Plus, see the mid-century modern sets, Cat's Meow pieces and Rosenthal porcelain with its mark that I uncovered.

I am 74 and married 52 years. So many things I gave away (the cane ladder back chairs, the cat’s meow pieces) show up now as desirable. Don’t tell my husband. He is forever telling me to not declutter everything. Who knew being neat could be so expensive?
That my Goodwill store! We brought a lot of things from my Mom’s house there when she died. I’m bringing things of my own there fairly often these days. I’m not moving but clearing out a lot that I just don’t need. And, of course, I shop there. I always find a cookbook or two. I enjoy them for awhile then donate them back and get a few more. I’ve also bought some clothing there. I’ve lost 145 lbs. and it was nice to be able to find something I liked whatever size I was. I also appreciate that It’s kept up really well. I’ve always found it to be clean and well organized.

We just remodeled our kitchen of our 1850's 2 story brick home. Have white distressed farmers style custom made cabinets. Painted the walls blue. I've collected lots of cobalt blue antique glass. Love it!

Ive made some good money reselling corelle. I bypass the popular patterns like snowflake and butterfly. I had those polka dot ones. Sold for around $25 for 4 pieces. Paid $.75 ea.

Milk glass is always desirable?? Most thtift stores have a hard time even giving it away. Maybe on the East Coast it's more desirable.
