Keep in mind, people back in the day (including myself) said "no one's going to do the Joker better than Jack Nicholson," and then we got Heath Ledger, Joaquin Phoenix, and Mark Hamill. Also, everyone poo-poo'd on the announcement of Affleck as Batman too. So, I guess never say never at this point.

Affleck was whatever and Joaquin was barely Joker tho . However Robert is the best actor out of anyone that's been cast . Bale is up there but Robert is better imo .
I love how real it is. The car is just a car with a engine on the back. The suit feels cobbled together; like the boots don’t look custom made but more like he’s found cool black ones in a motorcycle shop. I don’t think I’ve seen any utility belt gadgets. It all feels like he’s just starting out.

I love how unhinged and wild Pattinsons portrayal of the character appears to be. I've felt from day one he could be the best Batman because a man who dresses like a bat should be crazy and playing crazy protagonists is something Pattinson does extremely great, plus is really good and changing his voice and accent.

You guys are one of the few RUclipsrs that have praised the batmobile. For some reason people think the Batmobile is always supposed to be this big ass tank. But for decades it was just a car.
I can't wait to see this masterpiece of a film and I can tell that Zoe Kravitz's Catwoman will do ten times better than what Anne Hathaway's version tried to do in Dark Knight Rises. No offense towards the actress she is still my favorite, but I can't wait to see what Zoe has in The Batman film!

I never doubted Robert Pattinson’s casting. He can act watch Cosmopolis. This trailer was a cross between Cosmopolis and The Dark knight to the next level. Hopefully he gets a pay upgrade next film my man put in serious work. Straight Fire 🔥 🔥

Did you guys not watch the teaser trailer from last year? Peter Skarsgard's Gil Colsen was the guy with the bomb strapped to his head which exploded. Pretty sure he wont have a chance at being Tewo Face hahaha
I do believe that Gordon is in fact commissioner in this film, but he’s very new to it. So while he’s working with Batman, he’s also having to fight the corruption within his department

Yea I really want to see what Phoenix could do playing off of Batman and being full Joker an entire film instead of Arthur Fleck. Pattinson and Phoenix are my favorite actors of the last decade. They play crazy character leads better than anyone. But if it's not the kind of Joker portrayal Reeves has in mind to live in that universe , I trust they can find another really good Oscar level actor to do a great portrayal of Joker.

@@ej2314 in one of the breakdown videos on youtube someone pointed out that it's Dano and to maintain suspense about Riddler they cut scenes in the trailer I mean why would they want to show too much of Riddler (in the trailer) when he's supposed to be a mysterious character.

Yeah I can't see Paul Dano wanting to commit to multiple films or a TV series. Dude will just come in a absolutely crush his performance and then dip out. Love him as an actor. I'm also surprised by the complaints I've seen about the Batman mobile. I hated the tumbler from Dark Knight films. A young Batman starting out isn't going to have access to high tech military vehicles. But he can definitely mod the shit out of a muscle car. I love it.
this movie looks so good from the trailer, looks so well shot and from what i’ve read from screen tests it sounds very very dark. hopefully they don’t cut too much out

In MY opinion, this is going to destroy the Nolan trilogy. This first film is going to beat the best one of the Nolan trilogy, TDK. I really like TDK and his trilogy in general, but they're just a little overhyped to me. Don't get me wrong, the movie is awesome, but I think this Batman is going be the best Batman movie we've ever seen. It has everything I've ever wanted in a Batman film. I know these are big predictions from me, but I truly believe it. I can't fucking wait for this film!!!

The other spin-off is Gotham PD. Also, Riddler is the main villain, Penguin will only have a small role in the film, as well as, I have a feeling, Falcone. Also, I think you’re getting Peter Skarsgard confused with Bill. Bill played Pennywise and can do the wonky eye thing. Peters character is the one in the trailer with the phone strapped to his hand that blows up during the mayors funeral. He’s one of Riddlers victims.
