It is based on a true story, a murder in Georgia in the 1900s
crazy symbolism too, the juxtaposition with the bright banjo melodies along that grim story sung low and the little struggle with the lyrics, highly approve.
That would have been much better in the skull outfit 😁 and funny as well.

That's a tough one. I have tied a dead chicken to my dog's collar, although I don't recommend that method. Eventually, after several years of trying, my dogs quit killing chickens.
