My purpose is to work on becoming the best version of myself that I can be, and contribute as much as I can to the betterment of society along the way.

Whether we achieved our own subjective meaning won't matter once we are dead. because when you're dead you can't look back on your life and appreciate how you lived it... because you're dead. This is my personal opinion it may not be the most optimistic but it makes sense to me.
