My dad always removed the wooden handles on post hole diggers and replaced them with welded on galvanized steel pipe handles The extra weight really helped dig and caused less shock to the body also built up those muscles.💪
Good thing you have a neighbor with a bison handeling facility you can talk to. While sand may be difficuult to dig in, it is better than lignite or caliche. :)
You can measure and put a mark on the post hole diggers to measure depth. Helps keep sand out of tape measure and is a little faster. Great video. I'll sub and see what other info you have to offer.
After the first pass with the auger, add water to the hole and run the bit through it again. Wet sand tends to stick together. This is assuming you have the water to spare. We do that here and we can get 15" holes 4 ft deep with 3 passes.
Watch Cross Timber's Bison. Dusty Baker has experience with building a handling system. It might help you, plus you could even contact him. He is in Sulfur Springs, Oklahoma

It could be worse. I just hope it holds up under the pressure of the bison

Have you gotten any significant rain these last weeks? If you mentioned it on the previous videos, I missed it.
We had 1/4" a couple weeks ago. Recent storms just passed us by. Good chances though later this week. Fingers crossed.
Paint the rusty pipes with Rustolium (sp) paint. Black.
Yes, I need to do that. I had thought painting it a rust color :)
