Andras the only issue I have with ur videos is I just can’t watch it casually . It is more of a religious thing where I need to shut everything off n pay attention to the max . Rest chess channels I can watch with chaos around me but if I do that with ur video I feel like I m committing a sin . U Sir are the best trainer . There might be great players but for me u r the magnus Carlsen of chess training . I might be wrong for higher rated players but for me u r the BEST . Period

When I see a new Andras video posted, I put on a suit and a tie, make myself a coffee in a mug, light candles, find a comfortable armchair, and then sit down to watch it.

Your point about making your opponent navigate choices and continuing to add pressure resonates. Just another form of tension you shouldn’t release unless you benefit.

Thanks Andras. It's really useful to hear your considerations in simpler positions. Sometimes with GM game analysis there's so much to consider, it's not always as easy to grasp the concepts behind the moves. More please :)

This video is perfect for people who are struggling to climb up the rating ladder because of poor time management and oversight. It made me realize how I am playing too fast and not calculating deeply enough. Thank you so much Andras for spreading actually useful information on how to improve at this amazing game!

So much to learn from strong players explaining their thinking. I never thought about complicating the position of my opponent like that, and not giving them easy responses. That is some high level stuff. Thanks Andras.

Great points about not playing forcing moves against weaker opponents. Posted for the algorithm

Great video. Dealing with my current issues. I have your 1e4 Chessable course as well as the 1e4e5 and 1d4d5 but still forget to stop and calculate. Sometimes it's pressure, other times it's overconfidence (like your opponent.) Thank you for this!

8:00 this explanation of "easy moves" is magical. Is this what Kasparov and Carlsen mean by "doing 10 threats" ?

The Fried Liver is such an annoying opening to deal with 😩 It feels good to see a player lose by playing it.

love your vids. However i would have to disagree on Bxb5, Qxd5, Bxc6, Qxc6, then if Qf3 defends, Bb7, Qxc6, Bxc6, white castles then is up a pawn , fairly even game unless im missing something?

0:45 how this defense from fried liver is called? from what i'm hearing, "the oof stat" or something?

11:10 Not with 2 and a half minutes on the clock brother! I'd take the material in a heart beat! Or do I calculate and potentially lose on time???

    • @robinesperoza
      @robinesperoza Год назад +2

Yea, I feel the hints are for classical time control; and the illustration is in blitz. If you are low on time and can take a piece with check, without spoiling your position it's fine.
However, when training; prioritise what you learn from most; instead of what is the easiest. :)

i think its kind of funny that he offered a draw in the open and then tried some kind of bluff in the chat when he saw he was up on time. you have to admit he tried his best

I believe White grabs the a8 rook if black takes the Knight. I also first thought that black had won a pawn and a piece there.

I just got destroyed by a 600 rated player who has a 9 month old acct and has won all 86 games he has played including against me. He played 85.9 percent accurate and cheat detection is like 🙈🙉🙊. Played instantaneously every single move. It was in open challenges which is why i was paired so far below my Elo. Meanwhile Danny lying about how their cheat detection is so good. Makes you not want to play tbh. I purposely play open challenges most of which are unrated so i can avoid cheaters and even then i cant. I must have went like a month and half not playing.

Oh yeah and the only person with any sort of courage and is a chess genius and speaks out about cheating(Kramnik) just got his blog taken down because this site doesnt like how he is exposing how cheating is out of control on all levels and of course they lie and say it was due to false allegations when Kramnik is arguably a genius in terms of chess and probably knows what to look for more than anyone. The state of chess in my eyes at least online is just sad and zaps my passion out of me.
