I like it too, I do agree with some of the negatives outlined in the video but I think it’s Honestly a pretty fun game that does interesting things with the mappy concept, like the stage-specific features to get one over on enemies
I used to rent this from Blockbuster all the time as a little kid. Loved it as a kid, but I just cannot get into it as an adult. Funny how much dedication I once had.
I probably played this one a little bit? Pretty sure it was another one in the namco museum famicom collection... or it might've been a ROM. I like the original mappy alright, but not sure I'm as into this one tbh.
I like Mappy Land. Repeating myself here, but it was cute and a platformer, so it appealed to me.
Well, there's a lot of cute platformers on the Famicom. It's just they don't start really rolling out until late 1990...
