Most of the cards you didn't get 10s on and you were perplexed about have centering issues. It's clear as day they wouldn't get 10s. I don't think PSA is controlling pops of anything, get a centering tool and you will avoid any centering flaws before submitting. White corners are also clear as day.

Great submission returns bud, at that price you can’t go wrong. Received mine the other week, very happy with the results. Small submission nothing too crazy but, being that it was my first I was stoked. Got all 3 cards at 10’s including the motherload itself lol. Keep up the awesome job Brotha! 🤙🏽

Grading star players rc is the way to go if PSA 10 comes, even PSA 9 isn’t that bad. Anything better than PSA 8 is good
Those Zions were nice. I am submitting some cards to PSA soon. Hopefully can get some decent grades. Honestly, I feel it depends on the grader more than anything.

I just send the thicker cards in those Card Save 1's or, if I have on me, a thicker one touch. If I had to prefer between the two, probably the thicker one touch honestly. But fingers crossed you do well man, seems like the more cards you send in PSA is a little more lenient. I'm excited to see the results hopefully you make a video!

Depends on what grader you get. If he/she having a good day, you get most of them in Psa 10. For me I probably will only send 60/40 leaning towards Psa 10.

I really enjoyed the video and have been seriously considering sending some of my cards in to be graded but don't step one as to how to select the cards in to be graded, I collect mostly basketball and some hockey any advice or help as to what steps to take would be greatly appreciated 👍
Still some good stuff you got there and it was an enjoyable showcase! I want to send some stuff out to get graded eventually I've only ever sent two cards out I've bought quite a few slabs but I used to be nervous to send my cards out but if it's serial numbered or something like that then I'm not quite as worried about a switch or something along those lines!
Make sure to take pictures or a video before so you can make sure there’s no switcharoo. Not gonna lie PSA submissions are my favorite part of the hobby

My 35 card bulk submission turned like 80 Pete cent gem mint 10 but then again I send psa worthy cards even if it means base

Crazy how the market treats 9 to 10 so drastically different.
I mean its the difference from 'perfect' to not; but the graders prolly don't take too long for each card.
Im sure they grade different cards more strictly just to keep the pops low.
I had a very similar submission with lots of Mint 9s but mostly numbered cards. PSA has been tough and with the card market crashing right now it’s going to be tough to sell at the comps you listed. It’s crashing more and more each day. But I’m looking forward to cheap wax to increase the ceiling odds of ripping.
Do you think its worth it to buy the good rookies as singles or rip a box. Even though wax is becoming more affordable I still feel like buying singles is a better deal.

overall was a decent variety of retail cards. with $199 declared value limit, i think you did ok on a few of them.
This is why I’m terrified to spend $600 to send my cards in. PSA is all over the place with consistency.

@@skybcards i sent in a 2021 Tom Brady Downtown and it got graded a 6. I cracked it open, resent it and it came back a 9.

I use the shoebox app on iPhone for prescreening cards it’s saved me a fortune.
Everyone has a different perspective when it comes to grading. Everyone thinks they have a 10 until they don’t get one. And the crying behind. Just do what all the graders do. Break it open and rub it with Kurt’s Kard Kare. Then re-submit until you get your way. It’s subjective and has zero consistency. Eventually people will figure this out. Nobody is going to give out 10’s like candy even if it truly is. This is why grading is one of the biggest scams n the hobby. It’s also a hell of a good place to launder money!!!
Pretty much just got the money back for the grading and having to pull these cards maybe less depends on the other pulls from those boxes.

I send in cards regularly.. make sure you have the cards in the right cases. Also go to the store and buy those small colored pull tabs and put them on the plastic sleeve and then in the case. That way the card grader is easily able to pull the card out. It'll help you get better grades. Those card graders get about $13 an hour and hate there jobs. So you gotta help them out and make there job easier for them to help you get better grades.
It’s ridiculous how shady every big company in the hobby has gotten. Panini, topps , Psa are destroying everything good

Sports cards are harder to grade than tcg cards. I only send in about 15 cards at a time, that I know would get 10s. A rule of thumb though, PSA has to base some of your grades off of your total value of the cards. What I mean is they won't give you all 10s because there is a certain amount that they can't exceed for your total expected profit. Then they will start giving you 9s and 8s. That's why I would never send in a bunch of perfect cards for one submission.

If PSA is trying to control pops for certain cards instead of grading them for what they are. Isn’t that fraud? Why do we use them then?
That worries me that you mention I don't remember sending a couple of cards that off center, I hope they don't "switch" cards, that is why I am so nervous about sending in a submission!

This is why u don’t send low $ retail base for grading. Not even $600 worth of cards. Until people stop doing this the market will continue to drop
You can flip those low $ cards pretty easily. At $18 per card to grade at PSA leaves a lot of meat on the bone

34 out of 51 cards were PSA 10 for me, only 2 8s. This was a lower end submission for me, so I won't be making much headway as some of the 9s were my "fingers crossed" cards...2020-21 Prizm Cracked Ice basketball of course! Glad to see you got 10s on those Gridiron Kings, all 9s for me :(

Prizm is tough to grade, but when you get the 10s it makes it worth it. Nice sub.

yeah. Surface issues are what I struggle with and get dinged for the most because I tend to overlook the surface the most and not look closely under bright light before sending. Sometimes you get lucky if they also overlook a fine print line or dimple, but a lot will give a 9 for any surface issue even minor.

I got a TJ Dillashaw select auto gold /10 looks like it’s in great condition and corners are sharp is that one worth grading as well as a couple tie dyes and bonus shots holly Holms and Jessica Andrade white sparkle I’m just not sure if they would be good ones to send in
I would check what the cards sell for in PSA 10 / 9 slabs to make sure it’s worth it but from the sounds of it, those are bangers 🔥

I’ve been pretty lucky, around 70% gem rate. But none of my big cards get 10s
The one that upsets me is a Jalen Green Prizm 75th Anniversary/75. Card looks perfect, and got a 9. Thinking of sending to BGS
PSA is 1000x more critical on grading prizm cards in my experience. I bet if you sent it on a more expensive grading level they would hook you up with a 10

I honestly don’t really see the point of grading anything except maybe for vintage cards and junk era. But to each their own.
Cards look nice in the slabs, slabs are clearer than top loaders. It’s just a way to protect and display your cards. Unless you just flip, then it’s all about the 10s
