STORY BEHIND THE SONG (from Vinnie Paul): There was a guy in the front row in San Diego who was heckling Phil Anselmo (vocalist). Phil finally had enough, so he incited the crowd to jump this guy's ass and beat the sht out of him on the spot, so he sued us. And when his dad called our manager, his exact quote was, "You just give me five minutes alone with that Phil Anselmo guy and I'll show him who's big daddy around here." Phil's response was, "You just give me five minutes with that cat's dad and I'll whoop his ass." That's where that song came from.

This song was written after someone contacted Phil's agent about something he did and told his agent he would like to have 5 minutes alone with Phil to which Phil's agent responded with "No you wouldnt" lol.
God I love it when Dime bends that harmonic at the end. He bends it down and dumps the tremolo bar and catches it when it comes back up. That's perfect timing and years of practice to do those kind of guitar tricks that makes a guitar sound like the afterburner of a jet.
Love these guys and have since I was a teenager (mid 90s). Seen them once and they're in contention for best live band I ever saw, absolutely crazy shows. Hard to believe the Abbots are no longer with us. Phil (singer) and Rex (bassist) are the only living members. Which is crazy because back then you woulda thought the opposite because the Abbots were known as the "responsible" members..RIP Dimebag and Vinnie
Well the the estates have approved a tribute line up and tour with Charlie Benante and Zach Wild filling in. Next year's must see show for me. Right up there with catchin you guys live.
