Having some interaction definitely helps. Also one of my pet peeves on climbing. Theres potential for climbing to be a deep mechanic with a wide range of interaction and skill and timing
Istg i just knew you today, i was looking for videos on how to create a video game and i kept watching your videos starting from the creation video ( i created an FPS shooter game in 90 days ) and when i was done with the video before this one i just noticed you just upload, keep up with the good work bro, I'm loving how the game is looking like
Bro I am so glad you’re doing you. I can’t wait to play this game although I am bummed out about the FPS issue I’m proud of the man you’ve become and what you have accomplished. Keep your head up and keep at it! Stay inspired! Don’t wait, Just make it and be happy!
For the sprint it still kinda stiff between the arms give the arms more motion cuz it kinda ends when it is parallel to the back take this from an animator
It's not easy to animate suttle movements. That's why mocap plays a huge role in that aspect. If you're going for fast-paced gameplay, you should opt for more exaggerated posing and movement. It's easier to animate that way than it is with slow and Suttle movements. Looks great cuz
I see how your game is going to be, I still like the first person view but since you changed and it’s not good to chnage all the time but make sure your game is close to Elden ring my friend other wise the game will be bad and no one will be interested in it. Thank you 🙏
@DeavtheDev Been goin at it for about 2 years now. But actually learning the software and getting used to it took about a month or 2. But actually fully understanding it is just an ongoing process haha.
@@jonei Nice!! I saw a video of yours from a year ago then seeing this seems like you've come a long way learning a lot pretty quickly!! I've been jumping from engine to engine trying to find one that works best for me. I might give unreal a go once I get a PC that won't blow up 🤣
Did it feel too zoomed in? I was going for a bit more of a dramatic/cinematic effect like elden ring or sekiro but I know FOV can be very disorienting for some people.
Show support by adding our game "The Resonant: Reckoning" to your steam Wishlist!

@@joneihirer a fiver guy with a mocap suit send some refrences and make another video on fiver on how it went just don't spend 400😅
i think the flip mantle would be cool for after wall climbing but i agree it is sort of clunky if it’s the main animation for mantling
