Hi Ziyanda, The ease or difficulty on finding a job depend mainly on two things: Having an EU nationality, which means you have no limitation on working and speaking Dutch. If you have both, it should be fairly easy to find a job in retail, cafes and etc. But worry not if you don't have either. Not being from an EU country means that you can work either 16 hours per week or full-time during the summer. BUT, any future employer of yours will need to apply for a permit for you, which is an extra hurdle. I've heard of a few clothing stores in the city which would be willing to apply for the permit and do not need you to speak Dutch as there are a lot of tourists and international students in town. In summary, there are jobs available, you just need to have a CV with motivation letter and walk around the city centre looking out for 'Help Wanted' signs!
