Great video! Thanks for thoroughly describing the steps in the planning phase. Particularly, I thought your tip on utilizing extension cable ends was insightful. I’ve not seen anybody else recommend that!
Nice custom build Fred. I imagine you can save money by building your own box and be able to customize it to your own personal needs. Excellent informative video.
Great video. I built my box about 5 years ago just for fun and camping. Kind of turned into an obsession with using a diy for solar on the house. I just got a LiTime 1000w inverter as a backup for the box. I have a Renogy 1000w inverter that has about 5 years of use behind it. Still running great. Subscribing so I can see the updates on your project.
Just a thought, it may be cheaper to buy a little water tank, and store water, above ground, because it is easier to pump it horizontally into the house.

Why are you whispering does your wife work night shift? Great video love litime
Kinda has an Al Gore, “possibly gonna eat you” vibe to it at times. Was waiting to hear “lock box” a few times. 😂

Very interested in this! I have been looking at powers stations on and off. Looking forward to your performance videos!
Thanks for watching! I am super curious as to its performance as well.
You might need a fan to vent the heat from the charge controller, inverter and batteries.
Agreed!
I want to figure out how to run my well for water when the power is out. It would be more convenient than buying and storing bottles of water.

I feel like I would catch the garage on fire if i attempted this.
What do you think I will need to run the A/C unil 120a and 800w computer for 12 hours.?
That would probably require a gas generator for the A/C.
Please cease and desist with the radio announcer voice. Just talk, Fred.
All that work and you used a garbage PWM charge controller??
