    We love to braise and slow cook whitetail shoulder in a dutch oven for 4+ hours. Served with some fresh veggies and bread, it is one of our favorite meals. Keep the cooking, camping, and scouting vids coming!

    Well done man - you got me thinking about bringing my big W kettle along on some family camping trips to do some low& slow cooking. Not nearly as efficient as the Chef but the snake coal method works pretty well. Thanks for the inspiration.

    I realize Winston has grown up eating wild game, but still... any little person who tries something and likes it is the person to listen to. Him and Grammy Sammi who isn't a big game fan. The food looked amazing, Casey! If a person didn't have a smoker, could the same recipe/principle be used to cook something like this on a BBQ? Thanks for the recipe.     Dark mustered , garlic, mushrooms. It is a lot of work but I cut all the tendons off the meat and soak it for a week. Enjoy
