The best part of this movie is the fact that Warner Brothers funded this project for James Gunn and just said "Hey man, we trust you, here's a shit ton of money, execute your vision." Just like WB did for Joker. And just like I hope they've done for Dune!

I'm so hyped for this movie. I couldn't stop laughing when King Shark was like "num num" because it threw me back to TMNT Secret of the Ooze and them going "mmmm num nums" when trying to feed those capsuls to Tokka & Rahzar lmao.
John Cena as Peacemaker is the perfect fusion of Captain America and Archer!!

The fact that Gunn is using Starro is amazing! Starro isn't a villain I would associate with the Suicide Squad, but it makes so much sense when you think about it

i have never been so excited for a dc film before
The two biggest things I love is that 1. They gave Gunn complete creative control and didn’t interfere with it at all (unlike the 2016 movie which I believe David Ayer when he said they changed it from a deep and complex drama about criminals becoming more than what society views them as) and 2. The fact that the majority of the characters are low list nobodies, nobody has any expectations for Polka Dot Man or Ratcatcher 2 and I love that, people had the exact same ‘prediction’ for Guardians of the Galaxy 7 years ago and Gunn proved them wrong
Said the same thing for The Batman. I can’t wait for both.

It’s from an animated DC movie, where King Sharks only line is “King Shark is a Shark”. He’s basically messing with Captain Boomerang making him believe that those are the only words he can speak, until the very end when he says “it’s been an honor fighting by your side” and Captain Boomerang said something along the lines of “are you fu*king kidding me” before they all blow up and die. It’s basically an inside joke with DC fans at this point.

It just makes me happy that someone else is excited for the possibility of Jarro. At the end of BvS, while in the theater I was hoping that the bell being rung amongst the stars also was bringing Starro.

6:38 There are some people out there who probably care about characters like Weasel or Javelin, but honestly given the obscurity of some of these characters I'd just be grateful that they're getting to be in a film at all, even if it's only for a few minutes before they die. I never thought that in a film with Harley Quinn, Captain Boomerang and King Shark the character I'd be the most excited for was Polka-Dot Man, but for some reason I'm really interested in what we've seen of him so far.

I liked the trailers with the first film, the problem was the producers wanting changes but not knowing what the movie is or what they wanted it to be. I can see the movie was either really funny or really dark and the producers coming in and saying "I like it, but I don't like most of the parts, so you need to make it lighter, and darker, more serious, and more like Guardians of the Galaxy, more family friendly and more realistic and we need it a month earlier" so they changed half of it and stitched it together

Now that I know that you two guys have seen the animated cartoon series, "Harley Quinn", too, may I suggest, "Condiment Man"? 🤔
Margot Robbie, if I recall right, wants to take a break from "DC", so I thought of, Kaley Cuoco, taking over and having a turn as a live-action, "Harley Quinn". But then I remembered that her horse trampled her legs, and now she has a metal bone replacement in one leg. During her recovery, she had to learn how to walk with one leg being heavier than the other.
So, though she still does equestrian events, can she do movie stunts, including fights? 🤔
I expect a more drawn-out version of the deaths in Deadpool 2. Probably a bunch early.
