The first time I watched your video I didn't understand anything because I was just focused on how soothing your voice is! Can we get an update please?
I was thinking the same thing. I could listen to him talk about plants all day. 😅
I'm SO bummed there is no followup! I was SO excited for it.
Me too...like No part 2...omg
ME TOO :(
same here.
Woooww :,(
Frrrr ngl
You're like... the Bob Ross of plants. This was so calming and when you said "and... there" it was confirmed. Lol.
Your voice is so soothing you're like the Bob Ross of plants
Right!
I’m very new at gardening and this is by far the BEST video on propagating dracenas. I have a different variety and I didn’t know it would be about the same for mine so i am very glad you said something! I had no idea you could grow that many dracenas that is so awesome
So eloquently done and creative personality with a soothing voice no wonder why the plant loved your singing voice and grew so so long🌴🌿🍀
You should definitely start posting more! I just found this and it's so useful and fun to listen to I went to your channel looking for more😭
This was very enjoyable. I hope you do more gardening videos. I'd love to see a video on the progress of these cutting.
Progress = 💀☠️
@Jungle Rooms Sir you have and amazing, calming and soothing voice and such an informative video!! I would love to see an update of these propagated stems!! Stay safe and well, and thank you for sharing!!🌱🤗🙏🏼🙏🏼
You're so likeable and this video was so informative and helped me propagate a dying underwatered dracaena! Please make more vids!!! 💛
This video was great. Informational and enjoyable! Going to try and do mine soon
Your voice is extraordinarily calming! Actually you would be a perfect narrator for documentaries.
loved your video!! it was very clear and informative as well as your tone of voice was so pleasant to listen to... I just my 6 year old plant as you showed on the video, looking forward to seeing the end result. wishing everyone a super day!!
I accidentally pulled one of the leafy heads off my dracaena it was over 6feet tall and dying when I bought it but with some TLC I brought it back to life. I was absolutely devastated but thanks to your video I can propagate the plant head :) thank you!
Great video thank you, Ill get cracking on mine tomorrow.
Nice Video and very helpful .. I see you have not commented to anyone and have only uploaded 2 videos and both on the same day 2 years ago. Hope you are fine and still with us . Thanks for the vid
This was an amazing experience I had all the info I needed to succeed for my plant life...my dracaena plant has been with me since I left my family and got my first home it was my ONLY FAMILY FOR A SEASON ...MY FIRST BABBY this week it was bending and falling I was so scared I haven't matienced it 😫 having baby's but your voice was like a plant doctor the fact I thought all hope was lost memory's gone you assured me new life possibilities × 2! I was so happy God bless you kinbro keep up the great work! Plz the PLANET NEEDS YOU! AND YOUR GREAT DIRECTIVE!...JESUS LOVES YOU BE JOYFUL AND.PROSPEROUS as the Dracaena 🪴!❤
That video was rad! Very satisfying. Thank you
I just transplanted a dracaena marginata that I had for probably about ten years. I only recently got into houseplants and realized it had been in a completely inappropriate pot that whole time. Seeing this video really showed that. My plant is about four feet tall (including the pot) and had two major roots and only fine roots along the base of the pot. No wonder the head didn't grow back when I cut it. Fortunately, I only cut off one of the heads to start with.
Thank you for the tips because as you said your plant is about 10 - 15 years old and so is mine so it's time to propagate. The original stalk is dying but it has sprouted a new one. I'm looking forward to doing it🌹
My plant did so well last year and tripled in size on my front porch getting late afternoon sun. I left it on the porch in freezing temperatures (only a few random dips below freezing) and it completely died, all it's leaves wilted and went limp . I could not find any good videos on what to do to save it (not supposed to be out there in the cold anyway). I ended up cutting all the leaves to see if new shoots would come out, but instead the top of the stem started to shrivel and get mushy. I cut the stem down to where it was more healthy and after several warm weeks, just as I was losing hope, I see several new shoots coming from the dirt (not from the stalk like I expected). I'm so excited. After watching this video, I now want to trim the main stalks and see if I can get a few additional Dracaenas out of this!
That same thing happened to me. It died after being left out in a frost night here in the Midwest.
I kept it over the winter trying to find some info how to save it.
I added some crushed organic egg shells to the soil one night and within a few weeks it started to grow shoots out of the dead long stem, close to the bottom.
They must like the nutrients from the eggshells.
Just found out how to comment again Love ur sinster approach Very interesting for this disabled senior.
Thank you for the video! This is very in depth and I now know to leave them out to dry for a couple of hours before planting. Mine is only about 3 feet tall, but the leaves are browning and falling off and it's very leggy. It's time to propagate.
I love your voice. Good info too!
My plant was 10 feet tall, I cut it down, put the stem in root powder & placed them in water for a whole year until I got roots, then I potted the stems & my plants grew wonderfully, I now have 5 of these plants 🤗🤗🤗
A whole year!?
They don't like a lot of water, how besides the root powder, did they survive in water, especially a whole year 😱😱
Thanks for this! I would love an update!!
Great sharing!
Thanks for a great video. This is the best on the propagation of Dracaena! Please post an update!
nice voice
and you don't beat around the bush with music and such
This was so helpful. Thank you so much.
Nice instructional video 👍🏼
I was so excited to see this video, I went right out and cut three plants. In two weeks I hope to see new leaves. Thank you for posting.
Anything? What happened? Did it all survive?
@@firdavsmustafa2032 they all died. I have to start again. 😢
@@firdavsmustafa2032 They died ... boohoo. But I will start again. I think these are beautiful plants.
@@jaelfaulcon9893I’m so sorry. These videos are scams - a dozen different “easy” methods that only work under specific circumstances, none of which are explained in the video. Thank god I had a second spare dracaena after I butchered the first one.
Would have liked to see the follow up from this . And yes defo Bob Ross of plants lol
Thanks for sharing ur experience 😊😊
Awesome video, took out the anxiety of chopping the tree to bits! Thank you! If I could send you a photo of our crooked neck little guy.
Yes, but -- where is the follow up video on his results?
Wonderful video, answered all of my questions. In particular about whether we need to let the ends dry a bit. Thank you! And your audio is of excellent quality btw. You must have been using something very high quality. Clear as a bell and it was as if your voice was in surround sound!
12:44 I had a flash back of Bob Ross beating the devil out of it.
oh my goodness me too!
You need to make more videos man…. Your voice is 🔥🔥🔥🔥
Hello and thank you for sharing your knowledge with us.
I wonder how much and how often water this plan needs, and also whether it is good idea to use self-watering pot, instead of regular one
thanks for the video. and you defenatly should be a VoiceOver. actor.
Great video. Really appreciate it! :)
I feel like this guy can say anything at all and it would sound smart hahaha
Nice video
Planning to do this today. Need to go out and get rooting powder. Wish me luck. would have loved a follow vid.
Thank you for this video. I am losing one of my favorite marginatas due to thrips. I will be trying this.
Beautiful.. Perfect
Thank you very much for information you have given to me.... 🇮🇶
@junglerooms can we kindly get an update on those plants. Much appreciated
yes please :)
Yes please
I guess it all failed...
Let’s hope not...
Since most of his plants are succulents and you can notice one leaf orchid that probably died after this upload, I wouldn't try this.
Very nice
Wauw you should make audiobooks! What a lovely voice!!!!
good job!
Heey ! So how did they grow !! Would love to see the growth !
Thanks for sharing
A spray bottle on jet stream works wonders for separating root systems
Never thought to pot the 2 plants together! My kid wants one now coz I told him it was a dragon tree!
Oh my gosh this is the best video! Can we get an update?
Yes ,, I agree fully...your voice is most soothing relaxing and seductive !!!!ok then...Great input on youe demonstation and I do so love love draceanas
Would be great if you would narrate stories/books...live listening to your voice! From Ireland/ Schotland? Thanks for the useful tips on dracaena. Sending plant love from the Netherlands
He's from Ireland. 😉
My dragon tree is literally 9 feet tall and touching the ceiling. I’ve had it for 14 years after buying it at ikea when it was 5 inches tall. I’m going to try a similar method as you showed just not 22 pieces maybe like 8 pieces. Hope you do a follow up video one day
I remember when in school for Horticulture a Dracaena like plant was one of the first plants Mrs Kinghorn first propagated for us and showed us how to do that. Hers sprouted beautifully, she had the cuttings laid on the side and I believe she scored them with a knife. It was only a Dracaena like plant, the parent plant was georous, perhaps a Datura. But her stems rooted beautifully, ours not so much. Teacher had done that procedure many times, we were just learning. Lol
Follow up video of cuttings? Great video.
Great video, would like to see an update video
I’ve had mine since 08 😊
@Jungle Rooms Thank you so much for this video!! I have a Dracaena Marginata and any advice on caring for it is appreciated!! Btw do you have an update on the cuttings and original plant in general, I'd love to see how they're all doing?😊
Update - ☠️
I can’t believe he would do that right on his nice flooring. 😮
Is soil propagation more successful than water with these guys? I have a 6ft single mother cane that’s never been pruned, bought about a week ago.
Hi, just wanted to know that if we need to water them if the soil dries out in the pot during this process of getting their roots grow.
What is it with dragon plant videos and soothing voices? 😄
thank you😍
Good video. I'm your 400th subscriber friend from India :) . Stay connected.
Intresthing video, when its the best time to prune thr drencia plant pls ,I live in zone 10
Hi do u have an update video
OMG where is part 2 of this ? Did they grow ?
i wish i saw some photos of the sprouts after 1-2 months...
We want more vidéos like this
you just inspired me to bring my plant back to life. I was starting to give up. Can you do this process at night too?
Aaw his voice was soo soothing! Like the gardening equivalent to Bob Ross! I hope I can get my poor dracaena which is mildly infested w fungus nats to grow after I propagate it! N last mth I pulled the whole tree out, rinsed the roots n it still has an infection.
Pour a Neem Oil blended solution into your soil to kill root dwelling pests. And use insecticidal soap sprayed on the exposed upper areas of the plant to kill pests. Both are ecologically friendly with no chemicals in them. In a gallon of lukewarm water, add 2 Tbsp of Bliss Neem Oil (Amazon) and 2 Tbsp of Dr. Bonners Castille Soap (at Whole Foods or Amazon). Need to keep it agitate with a whisk since the Neem Oil wants to separate from the water (which the soap aids in suspension). Don't use dish soap...to many plant harmful additives...Dr. Bonners is pure without additives. For the Insecticidal spray, into 1 Gallon of distilled water add 2 1/2 Tbsp Dr. Bonners Castile Soap and 2 1/2 Tbsp Canola Oil. Mix well and place in a spray bottle and mist all exterior surfaces to kill visible pests. It only kills on contact, so you should be able to see the knats to get to them. I use these two on my tomato plants and it keeps all critters under control without any chemicals. And no soil born mechanisms can survive the Neem Oil, which is not harmful to worms which you want in a garden.
I heard when the leaves look droopy like that, its having too much water/too little or not enough sun
How is the result ?? Hope all 22 potentials r healthy now !
an update would be great !!
Hello friend can I propagate the cutting in winter or when can start cutting for rooting please let me know thanks a lot 👍🏼❤️
Can we please get a follow up? This video was so helpful. Thank you!
If you want to see the follow up, go state into your compost pile. That’s what these cuttings look like nowadays.
How much should you water the cut off stems??
is there another video showing the results of your propagation?
Question? Did the mother plant end up growing back? And if so how long did it take? I did this same thing as you in this video but my mother plant hasn’t grown back. 😢 YET! 🙏🏼
Did all the pup take off?
You have a nice voice

What do they look like now
Any update on the pruned mother plant? Did it survive and show signs of new growth?
Hi Sandeep, yes three new shoots are starting to emerge on the mother plant! All that energy stored in the root system has to go somewhere!
@@junglerooms2799 Thank you for the update. After seeing your video, I went ahead and pruned my plant last Sunday and I hope it survives and grows back again. How frequently do you water this plant and how much water? Thanks again for the reply.
@@junglerooms2799 video update would be nice
