- Landing on Runway 22L at New York's John F. Kennedy International Airport aboard an American Airlines 737-823, registration N986NN. The Captain warned about turbulence on arrival and scattered thunderstorms around JFK, and, sure enough, the view out the right hand windows revealed a massive thundercloud hanging over Manhattan. Enjoy the stunning landing, the epic stormy lighting, and the incredible footage of some of JFK's coolest widebody visitors as we taxi to the gate at American's T8. "John F. Kennedy International Airport" - 12:22
And the tower at 12.33 is definitely from JFK.
Great video - what month of the year was this?
Thank you Andrew! Filmed in late August 2022
Great slick video editing. You switched from ATL to JFK without a bump. Get real
What do you mean?
@@flapsnslats Do you think people who are familiar with Atlanta can’t tell the difference in an aircraft approach into its city from NYs JFK? The first few moments of this video was a landing in Atlanta. Period.
@@StonedUp1Hahaha. I think they all know there’s no ocean next to Atlanta, stop making a fool out of yourself. And stop accusing me of splicing footage from two different flights together. I would never do that.
This stewardess is much nicer than the mask natzis the last time I flew AA
What is your favorite airline?
I'm biased because I work for one, but in the US, I think Delta wins based on on-time performance and reliability and JetBlue wins in terms of customer service and onboard product.
@@flapsnslats yes me too
What storm? Clouds are not storms.
Look at the rain over the city on final approach
I see clouds, I don't see rain.@@flapsnslats
